  1. Racenet advertise bookies, they don't accept bets, they make money from referrals - eg. when you bet and lose, they get a percentage of your losses
  2. Good thoughts. What can we all agree on? * Avondale is a great track for racing * Night racing is a great opportunity and proves popular in Australia * Avondale facilities are worse than most rugby club rooms, very grim * New Lynn is booming and West Auckland is improving all the time with new builds, shops and facilities * Public transport, Trains, Buses are all on route of Avondale * There really is no excuse for the state that Avondale is in other than management * Avondale have had their chance and the executioners have arrived
  3. You shouldn't be comparing a form website with a betting website. Racenet only offer news and information, it's not a difficult website to build
  4. The only issue I have is the website HANGS when I go to check on a result after a race, but the streaming is fine, quick and high quality. If any of you are using Microsoft Edge then make a change, you should be using Google Chrome or Firefox. It makes a BIG difference, websites & applications are designed to operate best on the most popular browsers https://www.google.com/chrome/?brand=CHBD&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIrYTAiq-C6gIVRiUrCh2BbAlbEAAYASAAEgJD-PD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/
  5. People only attend Avondale when they have to work, yes the only way they get people on track is if they pay them to be there.
  6. A racing hub to control all news would be nice, but that's not sport. Do any of you have a twitter account? If you don't, then get on.
  7. I have nothing to do with that website, I just follow and read racing news from AU/NZ...
  8. Whats stopping trainers, jockeys and private enterprises doing it now?
  9. https://www.racingnews.co.nz They have a bit of content coming out, Rogerson/Ormsby/Price/Brennan, signup to their newsletter & get it in your inbox
  10. The rugs challenge is a good way to stay engaged throughout an entire meeting - if you enjoy racing without a bet on every race
  11. Should the herald pay for the TAB form? or could the Herald publish racing form without racing odds?
  12. Des is very good, great charisma and a world of knowledge, irreplaceable and we have no one quite like him in NZ. But... Radio is old fashioned, for a new audience it was difficult to follow. As a punter who enjoyed his broadcast's I was frustrated when i missed a good interview, it wasn't quickly uploaded or accessible, if it was uploaded it never had bookmarks for key interviews and information. I hope he can look into setting up a remote studio and start his own podcast, he doesn't need the TAB or the Radio to do things better than before.
  13. I'd recommend using the blackbook service with https://www.punters.com.au
