Question is though do you need more and more ?, no different to Cricket these days with the endless 20 20 crap day after day week after week, do we need that as well  but back to harness,  the constant barrage of 5 or 6 starters is tedious but at least next year in Winter every second week for a while will be one Northern meeting so maybe 10 or 12 horse fields might just be a bit more interesting, it  it's irrelevant how good some of these guys up North are, if things don't stack up financially that's the way it is, Auckland has to stand on its own, just like anything else does, if it can do that then keep moving forward, if it can't well then questions have to be asked.
