Auck Race 1-8 Kansas Storm- nice trial and finished easily closing on the fav. Race-3-1 Johny Johny- has conditions to suit today and will handle conditions best Race 4-5 Wild Night- finished nicely in his last trial along with Levante and this is easier than that trial; 2 Jodelin Girl- will handle conditions and has won here Race 6- 11 Quintessa- nice finish last start 2nd and the extra 200m will help and unbeaten in wet ground Race 8- 1 Molly Bloom- loves 1600m along with 2-Tulsi and both will be finishing strong Westport Race 1-2 High Noon-going good in harder races and trainer always does well here and seems to get 1 rising star from this meeting Race 3- 5 Kink- one of 3 good trialists but did it easier than the other 2(3 Red Wine Kisses/4 Mary Rulz) and likely more improvement to follow Race 4-3 High Hopes should lead and win really and looks a class above this lot; 1- Honest Lies- 2 trials for a win and a 2nd and might trail and follow High Hopes; 11-Cosmic Star could place off improvement from his 5th first up Race 6- 4 Rapid Response- going well and has a 50% placing chance on the grass; 6-Hes Tough- a big class drop in opposition for this race; 1 Sailor Boy -consistent and will get a good run

This is where you bet knowing there could be team driving and think who will gain from it and bet accordingly

Going on the first 2 heats im taking Majestic Man to win the Trotters Final and The Fixer to win the Pacers Final. Majestic Man has done it pretty easy so far and hasn't worked too much and will have a lot more in him for the Final. The Fixer has been luckless in both heats and again has had a lot left in the tank and will have that left when it comes to the Final. Ultimate Sniper has had some hard runs and is hard to do that and still have a lot left for the Final. 2 horses who should go better on Friday night after good runs are Massive Metro and Another Masterpiece. Massive Metro a good chance in the Final as well.

Race 1- 5 Chase The Hat Trick- Had a hard run and didn't flinch and ready for a hard 1980m, 9- Gilligan's Island- just went under to Aqua Sancta and this field not as strong. 3- Ardens Reality- could get the best run and should be there at the finish. Race 2- 17 Chasing Great- Has been finishing fast in his last 2 from near last, with any luck should go very close, 14- Ardee Trouble got it wrong last start but an easy winner before that should be the quinella if they go the whole way with economical runs. Race 3- 2 Diamond Party- Has looked good at the trials but very green, if he leads he will be right in the finish, 1- On A Roll could get the trial and would epect him to be in the finish, Race 5- 10 Beau Vista- would of been in the first 3 had he not galloped, 4 All Nuts And Bolts may try and lead and therefore a good show, 3- Woodley Shawn ran a good race at Oamaru with a good last half. Race 7-1 Lone Star Lad- Not far off Oscar Bonanova last start and has a good chance tonight to win, 12- Woodstone is in going well but if he trots the whole way, the will know hes there. Rac 8- 11 Above And Beyond finished fast in his last trial and looks ready. 2 Skippys Delight won the trial with Above And Beyond and not much between these 2 in talent. 4- Tyron's Bit O Lemon was impressive in his win at Winton. Race 9- 1 Global Domination- a good run behind Arden Roanoke and good chance that will be the quinella. 4 Kruizr was only just beaten by Arden Roanoke last start and will go close again. Race 10- 3 Aqua Sancta- Won well last start after a cosy run and should get that again, 14- Ideal Rule is finishing off his races well and a good outside chance here, 15 Franco Garrett likely 2nd favourite and racing really well and did beat Scorcha not long ago. Best Bet- Race 8-11 Above And Beyond Best Eachway- Race 2- 17 Chasing Great Best Outside Chance- Race 5-10 Beau Vista, Race 10-14 Ideal Rule

Race 1- 4 Luminous will be a deserved short priced favourite, 7- Global Diamond the likely 2nd favourite but 3rd is more open. 1- Atom Ant should get a easy run behind the pace and 2- Bayeux could finish fast should be up there too. Race 2- 9 Scotch should go very close and was unlucky against Catalyst first up, 13- Familia did well last start in a fast race and only failure was on heavy ground and will get a dead today. Race 3- 5 Out Of the Park looks the likely favourite, 2- Flashdance is racing well, 1 Baby Face will be finishing fast, could be the next best 2. 9- Soft Hearted could lead and could surprise and 13- Manhatten Girl looked good making good ground late in her trial after missing the start. Race 4- 8 Spirited cruised his trial and looked ready for today, 1- Sleepy Geeg has racing behind and going well so had the advantage over most of these, just nto the best draw, 16- Lilikoi is another who did his trial very comfortable and the good draw helps. 17- Highlighter has a good draw and good trials behind him and could be right there. Race 5- 5 Sig Positano was a good 2nd to Cooga Doon in a trial before winning his next, 8- Miradello finished well at Ruakaka, 2- Red Hussar was just nabbed in a good race, 13- River Rising made a lot of ground in his trial placing. Race 6- 1 Dontblamethemusic has a very good record fresh up, 19- Ricky Baker was unlucky first up after a good trial and likely to lead and with a short straight, will make it interesting. Race 7- 4 Amal Rose likely favourite who was a good 3rd to Loire in last campaign, 1- All The Rage ran against some of the best last season and class will take her close. Race 8- 8 Burgundy Rose wasn't far off Jager Bombed last season which is good form, 12- Show The Love finished well last start to Imakeeper, 6- King Midas has high speed and the distance will suit and was playing up when well back at Te Aroha. 7- Whispering Wind will be a late finisher as well Race 9- Van Diamond has been going well his last 2 and a good 2nd to Petrachor 2 starts back, 10- Tuigirl was unlucky last start at Hastings and Rosie Myers's only ride today. Best Bet- Race 2- 9 Scotch Best each Way- 4- 8 Spirited Best Outside Chance- Race 5 - 8 Miradello, Race 1- 2- Bayeux.

Addington tonight. Race 2- The same 3 again as Methven- 9 Flying Mandy. 8- Awesome Impee and 11- DD's Super Stuart. 2 of them got it wrong and broke last start but I would go again from a mobile this time. Add in 4- Vacation Hill who did well after a break in his only start. Race 3- 2 Rory Brown looked good in his trial and did it easy, 7- Delightful Act ran against the best fillies last season and finished well in her season opener, 3- Invaluable- a good effort last sitting outside the leader over the last half in 57. Race 6- 1- Global Domination- Like the distance, is good fresh up and should be ready, 6- Hayden's Meddle finished strong last start and could be ready to strike. Race 7- 11- Matua Tana- Has a lot of speed and will go well this distance, 9- Diana Harbour- Also loves this distance and been in great form. 3- In Sequence should make the use of a good draw and should be therabouts. Race 8- 8- King Of Heroes is racing well and with luck will be in the finish. Race 9- 4- Betterthanfast- Is good fresh up and looked good at the trials, 9- Kiwis Are Flying just needs luck to be in the finish and a small field will help.

Race 1- 8 Flying Mandy trialled like shes ready for a big run, 9- Awesome Impee and 17- DD's Super Stuart are both improving and good each way bets. Race 2- 4 Somekindawonderul has been trialling well and so have 3- The Terrorist, 9- Laver and 6- Albasini and will be right in the finish.

I'll be sticking with Kings Will Dream from now to the Cups.

Auck Race 3- 11 Resonate- Looked good in his latest trial, not pushed and right with Sunny Glenis, though she did it easy also. Race 5- 3 Accelere looks to of improved and finshed well in his trial. 2- Blue Beat ran well in the trial also. Race 7- 3 The Moonshadow and 4 Blazen River looked ready finishing behind Bare Knuckle in their trial and I think whoever gets the better run with the Herlihy pair will likely finish in front of the other. -5 Solid Gold will hard held right behind them. Race 8- Line Up won his trial comfortably and had 8- Megastar right behind him under a good hold and a good outside chance. Addington Race 1- 9 Aqua Sancta- ran closing sectionals in 56/26 to finish a close 2nd in his trial and will be a short priced favourite tonight. Race 3- 7 Oscar Bonanova and 1- Lonestar Lad look like the quinella with Oscar Bonanova on his way to Open Company. Race 4- 8 Taxman won his try easily with his last sectionals 56/26 and should dominate. Race 5- 8 Sundees Son and 11 Habibi Inta look like the quinella again going on their first start for the season and 11- Destiny Jones hasn't been far from Sundees Son in his last start and his last trial. 6- Woodstone was closing on Sundees Son in his trial and a good place chance. Race 7- 7 Spankem will start favourite after a good trial but 4- Chase Auckland has equally as impressive trial, though Spankem is the only horse in this field not to win 1st up.

I like King Will Dream from the Waller stable. Very classy horse and could win a group 1 during the season and should be right in the finish in the Melbourne Cup.

Some bets worth a dollar. Race 2- e/w bets 1-Carita, 7-Terror The Christian(Fixed Odds), 10-Dance With Stars. The latter 2 doing well in the trials and Carita finally with a good draw and has been finishing well over the last part of his races. Race 4- 7-Portalegre, 1-Glenthorne Race -5- 1-Scorcha/2-Prodigal Guinness, 13-Emmersyn Lee, the top 3 on form but good outside chances are 9-It's Me, 10-Conquer Me, Race 7- 1 Classie Brigade/5-Hail Christian looks like the quinella. Race-8- 1 Friend/5-Corona been closing on a win in their last 2 runs and 8-Ghostwriter could be the biggest improver. Race 10- 8-All Nuts And Bolts went close last time and was well clear of the others in that race who he races tonight. 2-Night School made good ground in the same race and has the better draw tonight. Race 1- Hunua Hank unlucky last week, Little misspunky should go well over the longer trip, Kiwiana has been backed the last couple and meets an easier field here. Race 2- Fleurgundy looks the standout and finished quick last time, Powerofhope wasnt far off in a fast 800m onn Soft ground 1st up. Race-3 -Raz/Sweet Painted Lady look a good quinella and Reverence ooked good in a recent trial, Poppy O'neil won a trial on the same day but a bit slower than Reverence. Race -4-Mr Pickles ran well in his debut, Diogenes looked good at his trial and Kate Louise should be getting fitter and ready to go close.
