Stewards report awaited with interest.Maui definitely Trotted across the line and just beaten by a runner excuse the pun that appeared to be running behind for the last 50 meters. A close up freeze frame on trackside shows the now confirmed winner definitely not trotting and graining an advantage the last few meters. Wow that's a bit rough on the young lady. Roxborough is a shit of a track and many horses don't handle the tight bends. Have seen a lot worse drives recently especially by a leading driver who nomatter where he is in the running continues to leave his position and attack. Over the holiday period he has run last more than first.

Interesting new from TAB breaking down years results. Amazed that gallops won the day 2% ahead Harness with darts lol 0.56%. Biggest collect $819.00 place six Taupo not bad for a $4.00 investment and got 50% of $1,600 divi and TRUE TO MY NEW YEARS STATEMENT NOT A $ INVESTED ON DOGS. My resolution will continue into next year till Luxon like he said gets dog racing stopped!!!!! And to top it off the luvley TAB put a bonus $10 into account. One wonders why they don't go the whole way and tell us how much we lost for the year or would that be like cutting their own throat .

Have to say the way they drive dosen't suit the kiwi style. Whips and reins flying in all direction kamikaze style IMO. One of the worst was early in the comp was the driver of a grey (white) that was beaten turning for home but the driver(hope it wasn't a kiwi) kept whipping all the way up the straight. Would have got 6 months here. Bet the kiwis will pleased to get back home to some decent tracks and fellow drivers lol

Probably a TAB decision but what do folk think about these twilight starting times. Myself don't like but hey my opinion my own and won't rate. S Must be rough on trainers and drivers who have to travel hours to some of these meetings .Some wouldn't get much shut eye then back into it in early hours of morn.

I can remember travelling to Manawatu from Napier to watch Stylish Major,LeChant race and did it twice a week.If you think Lieing Luxon and the coalition of cigarettes and chaos are going to help harness racing out in the North Island not are you in dreamland your also in cuckoo land.
