  1. A changing world . The BRICS alliance initially consisted of Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa. However, the bloc invited and successfully added multiple new countries to its ranks in the past months, including the UAE and Saudi Arabia. These nations are not only rich in resources such as oil but are also rich in funds due to their powerful economies. With this increase in investable wealth, BRICS can invest further in its New Development Bank, which in turn will invest in growing economies to join BRICS down the line. In early 2024, the BRICS New Development Bank decided to fund projects in local currency. This decision, along with the $45 trillion that the bloc totals in investable wealth, can push the US Dollar back further. With more participants, the BRICS strategy to lessen international reliance on the dollar took a massive step forward in another key area, investments. With the BRICS currency in development, BRICS can invest in its development, as well as in Gold, which the bloc has said previously might be the backing their currency needed. Furthermore, BRICS now represents 45 percent of the global population and contributes to 36 percent of the global GDP, surpassing the G7’s 30 percent share.

  3. Thats enough for this morning but do some research on this topic the worlds changing and this will have implications for all of us , the danger is if BRICS succeeds and the USA dominance is defeated all they will have left is military dominance , this could get nasty .
  4. In what is another sign of the unfolding BRICS de-dollarization plan, Egypt has officially ditched the US Dollar in trade. Indeed, the country was one of five nations to accept an invitation to join the alliance at its 2023 summit. Subsequently, it has already firmly embraced its shift to local currency trade thus far. The BRICS expansion was the first time the alliance grew since 2001 and had massive geopolitical implications. Alongside Egypt, Iran, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Ethiopia are expected to join the bloc. Now, Egypt has already expressed its desire to move away from the greenback in trade.
  5. BRICS: Analyst Predicts US Dollar Crash Similar to Roman Empire’s End Leading financial analysts are warning that the US supremacy has reached a tipping point and its dominance cannot move further up. BRICS and other developing countries are racing ahead as their economy becomes robust and stronger. The GDP of BRICS nations is growing tremendously and challenging the US dollar at the global level. 6. "BRICS" is the acronym denoting the emerging national economies of Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa A changing world what does it mean for small western aligned country's like New Zealand . The Brics country's are attempting to undermine the USA monetary dominance of much of the world . February 1, 2024 , Hong KongCNN — Nearly three dozen countries are seeking entry into the China and Russia-backed BRICS economic group, member state South Africa said Wednesday, weeks after the body expanded its membership for the first time in more than a decade. Thirty-four countries have submitted an expression of interest in joining the bloc of major emerging economies, South African Foreign Minister Naledi Pandor told reporters, without naming the nations. Russia was accepting those applications after assuming rotating chairmanship of the group this year – and will be the first member to oversee the body since it significantly expanded its global footprint at the start of the year, when Iran, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Ethiopia, and Egypt formally joined.
  7. Well Well here's the fruit of his alleged crime , what was the point ?? A large number of Covid-19 vaccinators had their personal details posted on an American website, Te Whatu Ora has revealed. Kiwis affected by the data breach by a former health worker accused of misusing data to spread misinformation about vaccines, will be contacted by Te Whatu Ora. Te Whatu Ora will contact 12,000 New Zealanders after their personal information was leaked in an alleged data breach. Former health worker Barry Young has been charged with dishonestly accessing databases in relation to the breach. The personal information was available on a downloadable file on a US blogsite “The role played by vaccinators during the pandemic was invaluable and helped to keep communities safe and save lives.”
  8. Covid , ACT/Government enquiry , came on Gruff get in there have ago Share your experiences of how Labour's extended lockdowns affected you and your family with the independent COVID inquiry at www.covid19inquiry.nz.
  9. What a load of Crap just look at the date of your post , 29 May 2021 , here's a suggestion why not make a submission to the covid terms of reference process , get your ideas heard find out if they are fact or fiction , one things for sure this inquiry won't protect cindy and her lot . And while you are at it ask, has the death rate increased since vaccinations we forced on the public , have hospitals been over run with vax related heart issues etc etc , now's your chance Gruff
  10. Here's an interesting one . Beneath the Gaza Strip headquarters of the controversial United Nations agency for Palestinian refugees, known commonly as UNRWA, the Hamas terror group hid one of its most significant assets, the Israeli military has revealed. The subterranean data center — complete with an electrical room, industrial battery power banks and living quarters for Hamas terrorists operating the computer servers — was built precisely under the location where Israel would not consider looking initially, let alone target in an airstrike. The revelation of the server farm comes amid other accusations of UNRWA collusion with the Gaza-ruling terror group and the entanglement of the UN body that provides welfare and humanitarian services for Palestinian refugees from the 1948 and 1967 wars and their descendants. It is becoming clear that UNRWA is in no way a neutral relief agency. Its schools teach Jew hatred. Its staff cheer terror or actually take part in it.
  11. Hey Gruff it's your day again ,these bullet points above aren't the new terms of reference, step one in this process is to establish new terms of reference for the inquiry what's above is just ideas of what the new terms of reference might be (my misunderstanding ) anyway if you feel you want to make a contribution to what the new terms of reference should be then get in and submit , suggest anything that concerns you , you never know perhaps you will get what you want .
  12. Here's your chance to do some good and save your country , those who oppose this treaty principals bill will be getting a little nervous , there is a huge groundswell of support for the referendum emerging . Do yourself and your family a favor and click on the link TO TREATY NZ and judge the merits of it for yourself Hi Supporter, We’ve had a huge response to our campaign ensuring the Treaty delivers on its promise of equal rights, with support building even as politicians from other parties try to shut it down. New Zealanders visiting www.treaty.nz are telling us that they’re amazed to learn how brazenly the opposition has misrepresented the Treaty Principles Bill. This shows just how important it is that we reach more Kiwis with the facts. With the media all too willing to amplify misinformation, we need to extend the reach of our information campaign. And we can only do this with your support. will you pitch in to the campaign fund? Your financial support means we can get the facts in front of more New Zealanders in newspaper ads, on billboards, and online. DONATE NOW Thank you, David Seymour ACT Leader | MP for Epsom PS. I understand not everyone is able to give, especially after six years of Labour. If you can’t contribute today, you can boost the campaign by sharing www.treaty.nz (or this email) with friends and family.
  13. Gruff your not going to good are you , what the hell has Baker got to do with spending taxpayer money ??, he was an advisor who said what cindy wanted to hear he had no authority to spend taxpayer money . Cost effectiveness and efficacy that's on the list , Vaccine procurement and efficacy , definition .What is efficacy? A vaccine with an efficacy of 90% in a trial, for instance, means there was a 90% reduction in cases of disease in the vaccinated group compared to the unvaccinated (or placebo) group. Get into it make a submission .
  14. Gruff don't be a effin idiot , here are the added terms of reference and don't forget all decisions were ultimately Government decisions not Government employes that includes Bloomfield. The red head and glasses who were employed advisors who the government chose to hide behind BUT the government had the final say on everything . NOW MAKE YOUR SUBMISSION . Internal Affairs Minister Brooke van Velden said the government had committed to the expanded scope as part of the National Party's coalition agreements with both ACT and New Zealand First and wanted the public to have its say. "The current terms of reference were decided by the same government responsible for the Covid-19 response and they place significant limits on what the inquiry can consider," she said "New Zealanders deserve a frank assessment of what occurred and how we can learn from it." The Royal Commission of Inquiry into the pandemic response last year delayed hearing public submissions until 2024 while the National-led coalition government reviewed its scope. Public consultation will begin this month on expanding the inquiry's scope to include: Use of multiple lockdowns Vaccine procurement and efficacy The social and economic impacts on both regional and national levels Whether the decisions made, and steps taken, were justified The cost-effectiveness of the government's policies, and whether the rules set by the government appropriately balanced Covid-19 elimination with other goals The government's utilization of partnerships with business and professional groups The extent of disruption to New Zealanders' health, education, and business as a result of the government's policies If the government's response was consistent with the rule of law How New Zealand's pandemic preparedness compared to other countries
  15. Here's one for the climate crazy . New research says hundreds of islands in the Pacific are growing in land size, even as climate change-related sea level rises threaten the region. Scientists at the University of Auckland found atolls in the Pacific nations of Marshall Islands and Kiribati, as well as the Maldives archipelago in the Indian Ocean, have grown up to 8 per cent in size over the past six decades despite sea level rise. They say their research could help climate-vulnerable nations adapt to global warming in the future. The scientists used satellite images of islands as well as on-the-ground analysis to track the changes. , Followed by another bull shit article . The climate crisis is creating an increasingly uncertain future for people in most parts of the world. Paradoxically in my region, the Pacific, it is making our future increasingly certain—but not in a way that gives any kind of comfort.
  16. I hope you have all clicked on > Visit www.treaty.nz and had a good read , the partnership meaning is concerning and very dangerous for the future of our country , divided country's are doomed to fail . EX E mail The term “partnership” does not appear in the Treaty of Waitangi. The partnership concept is a recent invention of the courts. The concept of “partnership” was given force in 1986 when Parliament, with very little debate, included undefined “principles of the Treaty of Waitangi” in the State-Owned Enterprises Act. The Court of Appeal then interpreted this in 1987, writing that the Treaty “signified a partnership between Pākehā and Māori requiring each other to act towards the other reasonably and with the utmost good faith”. This definition of “partnership” was relatively restrained, but was a seed for later interpretations that expanded the concept without democratic input. Despite successive governments failing to define in law what the Treaty principles really are, more references to the principles were added into new legislation. As the Minister who introduced the Resource Management Act 1991 stated later, “I am quite sure that none of us knew what we meant when we signed up to that formula”. Meanwhile the courts and the Waitangi Tribunal have steadily pushed the boundaries of what is meant by Treaty principles and partnership. In a 2019 decision, the Supreme Court extended a Treaty principle of “active protection” to the Government having a duty to privilege iwi in economic development, in which interests with “mana whenua” were deemed stronger than other commercial interests. The emergent interpretation of Treaty principles as meaning separate rights for two separate peoples clearly does not align with either version of the original text, Māori or English. Moreover, it has far-reaching implications for the life of every child born today. Small steps toward co-governance and racial quotas are a red flag for more sweeping changes in coming decades. This makes the Treaty principles a question of constitutional importance for all New Zealanders to decide.
  17. ACT in Action . On Wednesday, the Justice Minister announced an end to taxpayer funding for criminals’ “cultural background” reports. This, along with scrapping Labour’s prison reduction target, was delivered as part of ACT’s coalition agreement with National. ACT has pushed to go further and abolish Section 27 reports entirely. On Thursday, submissions opened for the official inquiry into the Covid-19 response at www.covid19inquiry.nz. New Zealanders can now provide feedback on exactly what should be investigated. This commitment, announced by Brooke as Internal Affairs Minister, is being delivered as part of ACT's coalition agreement.
  18. New study . Gruff A new study estimates vaccines prevented between 4000 and 12,000 deaths during the Omicron phase of the Covid-19 pandemic. The paper, published in the medical journal Vaccine, models scenarios with different levels of vaccine coverage in the 18 months from January 2022. The authors say the elimination strategy meant most people were able to be vaccinated before being exposed to the virus. The researchers say it meant there were between 34,000 and 56,000 fewer hospitalizations over the period. The study concluded Covid-19 vaccination greatly reduced the burden on the health system in New Zealand.
  19. Big boost for ACT , My suspicion is Luxon is going to feel immense pressure from those who support ACTs treaty principles bill , I know some National supporters who will abandon National and move to ACT if this proposed referendum is kicked into touch . NEW POLL: Big boost for ACT sees Nats and ACT able to govern alone February's Taxpayers' Union – Curia poll was conducted over the period including Waitangi Day. ACT's proposed Treaty Principles Bill might have been receiving a lot of heat in the media, but it doesn't seem to have done the party any harm in the polls. In fact, these results suggest the opposite. National is up 2.6 points on our last poll in November 2023 to 39.6% while Labour drops marginally to 27.9% (-0.4 points). ACT is up significantly to 13.7% (+5.6%) while the Greens are down substantially to 9.0% (-4.8 points). The smaller parties are NZ First on 5.0% (-1.0 points), Te Pāti Māori on 2.3% (-1.1% points), and others combined were on 2.5%.
  20. On Monday at Waitangi, the ACT caucus stood up to defend a basic value: that every child growing up in New Zealand deserves the same respect and dignity, including equality before the law. This belief is a core principle – or kaupapa – for ACT. It’s a belief shared by most New Zealanders, including Māori. And it’s a principle that has the backing of our nation’s founding document, with Article 3 of Te Tiriti promising the same rights and duties for all New Zealanders. Our belief in unity and equal rights underpins ACT’s Treaty Principles Bill. This law will unwind the divisive modern ‘partnership’ interpretation of the Treaty and restore its meaning to what was actually written and signed in 1840. Today ACT is launching a campaign to give Kiwis the facts on the Treaty Principles Bill. Time and time again, the opposition have claimed we are trying to re-write, or even abolish, the Treaty. This is false, but it is clear we cannot rely on the media to correct the disinformation. That’s why we’ve set up an information hub at treaty.nz for New Zealanders to get the facts. In short, the Bill defines the Treaty principles – which New Zealanders have never had a say on – to align with the three Articles of Te Tiriti. This means the courts and bureaucracy can no longer twist the Treaty to justify divisive co-governance, special positions, and separate public services. I want to thank you for the support you’ve given us so far in the campaign against co-governance and division. But with ACT's coalition agreement advancing the Treaty Principles Bill to Parliament, the real work begins now. I need you to do three things: > Visit www.treaty.nz > Sign up to support the campaign > Share the website (or this email) with friends and family I believe New Zealanders can be trusted with difficult debates. Ultimately it’s the public that will persuade Parliament to advance the Treaty Principles Bill to a referendum, so I’m asking for your help to spread the word. Thank you, David Seymour ACT Leader | MP for Epsom
  21. I once bought a mare at a farm machinery sale , not quite a cattle sale but close, over time the investment turned out ok, I bred a filly from her and then sold the mare to Ausse , that filly won a couple I then bred from her she produced a filly which ended up in a top stable in Ausse , I then spent a minimal amount of money from that sale on a yearling at the Karaka festival sale who won a trial and went to Macau , I then went back to Karaka and bought two , one turned out to be dog tucker the other turned out to be a very good horse , this was over many years but a great result from spending a minimal amount of money at a farm machinery sale .
  22. Electric cars our savior really , well currently the car manufacturing industry has doubts . Sales are plummeting around the world and the predicted big shortages of battery manufacturing materials has evaporated . Lithium price has plummeted down 79% , nickel down 42% , copper is down a further 7% so it seems the global warming disciples dream of electric cars saving us all have hit a wall , clearly the general population has real doubts about electric cars . And just for you Gruff it seems global warming /climate change is going to create more demand for vaccines , yes that's right the more warmth the more bugs spreading disease and it will be Big Pharma to the rescue
  23. A policeman comes home early from work and finds 3 men in bed with his wife , Hello Hello Hello he said , Aren't you speaking to me dear she asked .
  24. School closed ,February 05, 2024, Only one day into the new school term, Rangiora High School, in Canterbury, has had to close due to an outbreak of covid-19 amongst their staff. A letter sent to parents, obtained by The Press, explains that the school was unable to staff classes and that no buses would run on Monday. Principal Bruce Kearney estimated that 30 out of the 110 teachers had covid-19, though he was not one of them. “We had our teacher-only days ... and then everybody started going down,” he said. Given the school had managed to stay open during the covid-19 peaks, it was ‘crazy’ that they had to close now, he said.
