Clearly until he actually sells some crypto he hasn't made anything , a dangerous game and not for me .

OPINION: 28/02/24 Steve Stannard former Massey academic. As the Massey University saga continues, there needs to be an honest discussion about the road Massey has taken to be where it is now, and what it needs to do to dig itself out of the hole it is in. The council sets the direction of the place and then charges the chief executive, in this case the vice-chancellor, to operate the institution so that strategic goals are met. One of these goals must be to ensure that the institution remains financially viable – that it does not make a loss. Clearly, there is difficulty in meeting this goal. My opinion – and one that some will not like to hear – is that the drop in EFTs at Massey is at least partly related to two strategic issues. First, Massey, once a leader in distance education, is no longer. It had a large portfolio of distance-offered courses and subsequently a good proportion of domestic students for whom that mode of study was suited. However, Covid-19 prompted other universities, here and abroad, to offer courses online, so competition for distance students increased. Second, in aiming to be “a Treaty-led university”, Massey has embedded tikanga and a sympathetic learning environment for Māori. Making good on a responsibility to uphold the Treaty by offering an attractive teaching and learning environment for Māori academics and students is to be applauded. And in a business context, this should attract more Māori “customers”. Notably, Māori students are accompanied by extra government funding, so that will help the income stream also. Interesting topic , I have a friend who spent about $960 for 100060 JSMY (-1c each) , JSMY is currently 3cents so he has more than tripled his $960, he also bought 1 and a bit of Ethereum at $3500 , currently $5341 .00 so he thinks bitcoin is brilliant, basically over all he has spent about $24000 on various cryptos and is ON PAPER about $15000 in front so what should he do cash in or wait for the $200,000 he thinks he will get ??, I know this because he wanted me to through in some cash , this is Not for me but perhaps crypto is the future , who knows , what do you think ?? , it's certainly growing in value at the moment .
