  1. What absolute nonsense you right above re Steroids,Team driving and EPO Only you saw it as a quiet run and you want us to believe your ideas are facts. Sorry old boy your deluded. I offered in good faith to return your 10 bucks you lost and you replied with that rubbish which you wisely edited from your original reply to my kind offer, you need help and lots of it IMHO. As for charities my wife and i already donate quite a bit on an annual basis to Heart Foundation,City Mission and Foundation for the Blind This is my last post on this matter as well so its over to the trolls and that includes a HTP who has rejoined RC, to have a crack. BTW welcome back Bogyman but it was inevitable given how much time you spend reading this site
  2. Jack PM me your TAB account and ill refund your losing bet on TF as your previous loss obviously irks you immensely. Then we can all carry on playing nice happy posters unlike elsewhere
  3. Each to their own Tim but im ok with taking the shorts.
  4. Cruz and MP were more than likely trying to win the race but ill throw it in the conspiracy theory file. I might add that in most meetings in NZ there is a passing lane.
  5. Given the way the race was run and where snowball ended up 3 back the fence it ran not bad for 4th. Congrats to your tipster3-3 and a 8 and 7 dollar shot.
  6. 7 Quinella was very nice for the trotters. my southern spy tells me Jabali in the last at 9 and 2.70 fixed. Snows driving it today from gate 1 which makes me feel a bit nervous but it does like wet tracks Does it appeal Amati?
  7. Im not convinced with all your posts arguements but agree that some drivers are now more aggressive in terms of getting to the front but you must concede that most drivers will hand up to better supported runners these days. As for AS comments your fully entitled to them although im pretty sure they win plenty of races with only 1 runner. Your AS driver tactics resemble US racing more than local stuff IMHO but each to their own. As the idea with punting is to win im more than happy to take shorts on their horses but do it with other stables as well . You'll never go broke backing winners was drummed into me very early on
  8. I like the Scarlet in r4 so maybe its quinella time and on exposed form and workouts Balcatherine looks the goods
  9. What a meltdown on the now famous channel. The minimal or no moderation policy coming home to roost and Hesi spilling his guts in disgust at owner. Quite a few talking about not posting there any more as well. Its comedy of the finest and can now be found hidden away in The Vent section Please reassure us Scoobie that he will not be allowed on here along with a few others who have done nothing but bag this site and you for the last year or so.
  10. Anamajor wins by a nose after being given a peach of a drive by J Dunn. 2nd horse wins if runs were swapped by a decent margin whilst ideologist showed no fight when tackled suggesting it did not back up
  11. To be fair though Stables , there are many things that influence any and all races. Draws, abilty, type of start, driver abilty etc. The so called best often get beaten with a soft run as well so at the end of the day surely the winner of the race is the best on that occasion.
  12. Ok Jack , i think we all get the picture as far as you are concerned on what happened on the track. Clearly, others saw it differently. PS, have you actually ever driven under race day conditions at a premiere meeting???
  13. I see your under the pump for your posts on this elsewhere. Some guy Joe has to be kidding after his piece of literary diarrhea but thanks to Westview aka Nigel , the Syndicator outlined that FTM has some mysterious issues which explains why it has under performed since Cup week. lots of vet bills by the sounds of it and far too good to be running as poorly as it has been . I hope for everyone involved that things get sorted out as she looks to have any amount of abilty when right.
  14. Is it just me or are others noticing there is a general increase in driver scrutiny by bloggers since Inca. Horses and drivers not trying or being hidden in races is now a common theme but im not sure anything has really changed. Yes their are going to be some shockers by drivers but that's been happening since the game started. I might also add that some horses in each and every race simply wont or cant get the optimum run. someone's always going to be 3-4 or 5 back on the fence
  15. Was chatting to one of the owners yesterday and got the impression they thought it would go good but as i suggested above something obviously not right with it.given how poorly it raced. Also asked him if they got any form of reimbursement for Interdom cock up. Very silent answer!!
  16. IM PATS DELIGHT JUST OUTSIDE TRACK RECORD AT SHEPPARTON Im Pats Delight was only 0.1 of a second outside the track record mile rate for 2690m with his win in the $60,000 Shepparton Gold Cup on Saturday night, January 12, 2018. The Kiwi raider, given every chance with a one out one back trial by Gavin Lang, rallied best to take the Group Two feature in a 1:56.2 rate for the staying trip. Let it Ride was woeful and obviously something amiss with him after he dropped out sharply
  17. Lies, damn lies and Stats but surely those on HRNZ website don't lie. There have been a total of 1047 races run leading into today's Nelson meeting. Top dog is AS with 54 wins followed by Dunns on 40. You can do the math but that leaves a lot of happy owners trainers and drivers out there who have had the thrill of winning a race this season. in fact, 120 trainers have had a sole winner ,47 have 2 winners and 26 3 winners
  18. Happy NY one and all. I'm encouraged to report after a break that the P and L is not too bad over the holiday period. Lots of AS wins at lovely prices Lee including yours and some really nice civvies on Willliamson horses down south. Good luck to all the owners and to you all if you like a bet
  19. I can confirm first hand that John is indeed relaxed at the moment unless he has a double. The one I sat near missed the Omakau trots to indulge in a lovely lunch at Mt Difficulty. Clearly if it was John he feels that the Alpha testing is first class and that their will be no issues
  20. Not afraid to travel a horse
  21. His other matters must be of concern until they are decided by the judicial process one way or the other. His strike rate is woeful but as i said earlier he is good enough to turn things around even though the percentage cheques are woeful thus far this season.
  22. Correct, Someone pointed it out to me whilst watching Ashvegas yesterday. Its a great stable to follow when the money is on but alas not so this season. Im sure things have a way of turning around as he was taught by one of the best.
  23. 39 3 4 3 44,486 0.1595 Starters wins, places etc stakes and UDR Surprised me
  24. I heard Davy Mac say it is there 150th anniversary next year. Someone said NZ did not even have electricity then or phones .
