Not sure what you are talking about. That doesn't look like the NZ TAB. I use the pdf form on the TAB website. It all still seems to be there. I don't use the comments under each horse which are usually rubbish. I do notice the form line with comments like led early, run down late, is no longer present which is a pity. Form to me is factual information such as what class the horse has been racing in, whether it handles a wet track, whether it has performed fresh. I'm not really interested in lists of odds fluctuations.

Their expectation is no one needs information in any form as we all have addictions and just bet by numbers , or if we are sophisticated addicts we take easybets .

Big dogs do not bite other big dogs.  However just whom were the top 3 supposed to report to? Were they and will they be called to account?  As a sidebar, kiwi punters have been betting in aussie, by now most have more clues about that form.  Will they return to kiwi races with the same gusto?

All this talk about consulting with the National party. We should be concentrating on establishing a rapport with the Labour party. With a 30% lead in the polls there is a very strong chance that they will be governing alone after the next election. Winston Peters will not be there to represent racing

performance, been none, just a bunch of leaders saying I know what you need, my idea will work, I will get this and that, and to hell with any advice.  I have got to know more and more about less and less, until I know everything about nothing.

Well i must say never gave him much credit when at Te Rapa , heard way more negatives than positives from his time there . But he's pretty well on the button with everything bar the barring of overseas bookies . Improve the product and compete , people hate being told you have no option but ours and someone will come up with a way around it .
He didn't have to be a rocket scientist to work out JA , should have spoken out and loudly at the time , i don't recall any administrator saying anything .
I'm in total agreement regarding A/W tracks , i've said my bit already . The one thing i will add , whilst all this talk of A/W's is going on nobody has mentioned sorting out the tracks we have , all the main one's need remedial work , preferably complete overhauls , but no , now we have the A/W's on the way and everybody is bathing in the glow of success they are going to bring to NZ racing the issue of how  bad a state of repair our tracks are in is just swept under the carpet .
As for media profile everybody in racing bar our esteemed leaders seem to understand the better the coverage the more people are likely to take an interest . I'm going to take a stab in the dark and suggest that having a dedicated racing radio channel and free to air TV would be financially more productive than their present plan of trying to make racing even more obscure than it was .

Brian de Lore in a story dated 9 March 2018 had this to say....
......."The Deloitte Report was released last week in an abridged form but why hadn’t NZTR shown enough foresight to release it last August? I had been asking for a copy since June but it was always denied on the grounds of ‘highly sensitive information.’
If NZTR had released the report in August we would be at least six months in advance of where the industry currently sits. And who knows, perhaps something could have been done to reconsider the whole FOB platform project which just might contribute to the ruination of the New Zealand racing industry as we (used to) know it.".......

He's worth his weight in gold presently for the simple fact that he is keeping front line participants informed on what is going on at RITA/NZTR . God knows they aren't .

Anyone else think we lost a rare gem when the industry let Barry Lichter go ?
This series of articles he’s producing make great reading
RITA should maybe bring him “inside the tent” and get him to help him articulate the vision, the strategy for our future, presuming we actually have a future

We were told that jetbet was so old the website needed replacing. Well when jetbet was introduced to NZ the world wide web had not been invented and the internet was more than 10 years way. Much of the programming on the old web site was state of the art so John Allen and co were lying or just plain ignorant. The back end processing along with the terminals could have been reorganized without changing the website. In the end the terminals stayed the same and a worse web site came about.

Just put the platform in a box and send it to London and tell them to FO, deal over and you get not a cent more
    Then relight the old platform
    Problem over
