  1. Agree Pam, very minor. What about Jocks whom jerk or yank the bit in a horses mouth around at the start? I consider that more severe that a tap on the bum.
  2. All staged for the news. This was around 2 weeks ago Mike.

  5. Lot of crazy rides down south today, Sokanon in particular, 3-4 wide with 600 to run 60kgs around that bend, jock looked like he was on stilts standing tall, Pitmans horse took off to, wide as well. Lot of races run like that. Best ride was given to Ears Back, and was rewarded. Not a bad horse that one.

  8. The Invergiggle meet as Mr Pitman calls it has attracted some of his team, I just think he has a 3yo with a shot at 100k, is the main reason, and fair enough too, mind you some 40k stakes on offer for some of his other runners, be crazy to miss out on that.

  13. The lad's list makes terrible reading I have to admit, and I think it's fair to list them. Sales past are littered with high priced lots doing zilch, bought for Aussie, Japan by leading judges of horseflesh and breeding. David has purchased 26 so far, there will be some handy types, some top liners, probably a top 2yo and 3yo, but all the while they will be hoping for a champion. Good luck to them. It;s a fickle business getting it right, you may get the breeding correct, but the thing don't gallop fast enough, then we have champs from the depths like Bonecrusher. As a kid growing up in Canterbury a stallion arrived by an english derby winner out of an english oaks winner. All and sundry thought this was going to be the next big thing, alas possibly the poorest performing stallion to ever grace our shores. His Name We Dont Know, and that's how it is still today.
  14. Outside fence where possibly no irrigation has been on, the place to be. The yellowish strip. This all turns me off a decent punt.
  15. Not a tip as such, But Cubes estate has a runner in the 1st today named Sunset Express, hope it runs well.

  18. Form Hub back on the top line again, but no darts!
  19. Yes the TAB wankers have deemed form irrelevant, perhaps they will offer darts at the top of the page soon.
