I'm showing up as a n00b, yet I joined in 2006 and had at least hundreds of posts. I am NOT the new kid round here! Hi to any old, old hands who might remember me. I was more active at North Canterbury than here if any former members of that one are around. I also set up Stable Talk [?] for the owner when she started up.

Love the Kentucky Derby. I bet $5 each way on Country House three years ago and watched her run a gallant 2nd, happy with the large place odds she paid, then went out for the day. What a pleasant surprise to go to open the TAB page and find all that bonus win divvy!

She wasn't just barren, she was a rare example of a non-gendered horse. I used to work with the breeder's granddaughter - possibly the equal-worst decision to lease a horse tied with Sunline. I don't think there's anything ATC can do - stakes are average, horse numbers are appalling and they have the best punter facilities by far.

Was always the highlight of autumn racing. Unfortunately, we'll never know whether moving it was smart, because you can't compare like with like any more. Which is probably why Ellerslie sold the Hill, damn them.

This the same Hedley Jordan who hasn't had a job in the past 30 years? I can't for the life of me think why that might be...
