Congratulations to my Bonecrusher teammates on their performance so far.  I think consistency has been our strength so far but we may need to lift to a higher level in the upcoming H2H  matches.  Enjoy your spell and come back firing on all cylinders!

Sad to hear that Pam, who I think was playing in the comps when I first joined Racecafe, passed away earlier this week.
Pam was a PJ comp stalwart on here and more recently on Raceplace.  May she rest in peace!!

Another busy autumn Saturday in Australia tomorrow morning (UK).
POST IMPRESSIONIST, who was so impressive last weekend in the Manion Cup, goes in the Tancred over 2400m and the fact Tom Marquand swerves Dubai World Cup night to take the ride speaks volumes but he's now in the big leagues and meets BUCKAROO, who was a strong third in the Ranvet. The latter is unknown at 2400m but holds MILITARY MISSION on last weekend's form.
We also have Pakenham Cup winner ASHRUN who was fourth in the Melbourne Cup last year but does he have the tactical speed for this trip? 
This time last year MORE FELONS was competing in the top 4-y-o hurdles such as the Adonis at Kempton and the Jewson at Aintree where he ran well. In the summer, he was second in a Group 3 at York to HAMISH, another of the Haggas stars and was eighth in the Ebor on his last British run. Sold to Australian interests, he was fifth in the Geelong Cup before a midfield run in the Melbourne Cup - the profile reminds me of POST IMPRESSIONIST but MORE FELONS was 8 lbs higher on the numbers (106 vs 98). MORE FELONS won the Parramatta Cup last time and the ground won't be a problem. 
The question is whether BUCKAROO will be as effective at this trip as the Ranvet run suggested. If he is, he likely wins, otherwise there's not much between POST IMPRESSIONIST, ASHRUN and MORE FELONS all of whom look like capable stayers.

Yeah, I got on at $21s after his first run in Sydney where, to put it politely, the jockey did not exert himself!
Will be a good test. 9 is getting on but he is pretty tough.

Great effort Mufasa, you smashed our Mr Tiz today …and Sayer was a genius ….we both had Antrim Coast but you had the foresight to make it you sole pick and best bet as well.
Avantage probably looking forward to meeting us next week, gleefully saying the draw has fallen their way to cement their top 6 position.
I might be top of the individual table but heck it’s only a 50% win rate on head to head basis …not that flash eh and haven’t really helped my team. This is a team event after all
So Pak Star need not fret too much in our head to head next week even though I might be the ‘champ’
but you never know team Avantage might fall over in last round of round robin and tumble out of the top 6

 

Sorry team I was not totally on my game today lost my little mate of 16 years...well done Chestnut on a good score today...come on team we can beat the opponents next week and come from the clouds to make the finals...thanks again SNM great job again mate.
