  1. Iam still in awe at your scoring systems and updates . I would have the ultimate meltdown keeping on top of it .
  2. Brilliant comp, real fun to follow during arvo and what a finish by winner, superb . Thanks organisers for the fun.
  3. Agree , not knocking horse at all , he's a talent , tries hard . Just unlucky bugger .
  4. Kementari and Mr Quickie , both bookies horses ,both very very good but somehow more often than not find a way to get beat . Kementari unlucky bugger , always finds the trap and fires blanks . I wouldn't ride him through a minefield, he'd find them alright .
  5. Blimey another totally transformed thread , a blokes ranting at his steering wheel in New York , then a punters comp question . There's more 360s than Robin Cousins .
  6. I be interested in the arguement for staying at this level, and I personally thought the lockdown was a good idea but extending it . Well I'd like to hear why it should be .
  7. R1 1 6 12 R2 3 10 12 R3 2 4 6 R4 1 3 6 R5 1 4 5 R6 1 5 7 R7 2 3 4 R8 1 2 5 R9 1 3 10 Thanks to organisers and scorer .
  8. That run Monday hasn't been missed , Ladbrokes 5.50 and 2.15 Sunday Terang the big hit has sailed on him . 1850 trip , draw fine , 3rd up and by looks not as good field as Monday .
  9. Just boxed on , 440 and 165 early so the lost balance can go towards the TAB electricity bill . Came in a bit at the jump. Brewing up for the big Stanaway day at Terang Sunday , I think he could go close with one there .
  10. Scomo, he's doing ok from what I can see . Didn't OZ close to flights earlier , put people into forced quarantene earlier , still ticking along economy wise up to a point so balancing the act well . Scomo looking like a Group 1 horse on this one so far , I'd say OZ the gold standard so far .Anyway I've got to study the OZ form book some more .
  11. Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern as reported in Stuff 21 March 2020: Also Stuff: 21 March 2020. Prime Minister: 23 March 2020. Stuff: 23 March 2020. The BFD. Also Stuff: 16 April 2020. Method: Repeat whatever “Blunder Woman” Jacinda Ardern says, she is our single source of truth, us too, we are your second only single source of truthiness. Jesus wept. Some cracking opinion essays by the Stuff reporters at times , if they were on a boat mid sea I would be confident I could come up alongside and sell them salt water . Laughable at times .
  12. Your on a big roll this week Gruff so iam on . I like this Yulong Soldier later in card , good last trial beating a decent stablemate Neufbosc and Hey Happy who's done well for Myers last couple runs in OZ . Nice debut ,up in trip , brother to Kingfisher a Melb Cup runner and Finn McCool a good Country Victoria horse . 440 and 165 the place , I've gone ew to try keep my meagre bank ticking over .
  13. 20 bucks to 120 , that's obscene. Some ticket clipping really needs to be reduced . As for syndicates I see the need for documentation , some syndicate manager fees do seem a little high imho , I have heard 10 per cent of a horse that's sold but could be mistaken . 10 per cent to syndicate manager in today's climate , yah nah .
  14. So 5.5 mill it's up to , 1.7 mill for noms . Anyone with real money in game needs to lift the carpet a wee bit more . Name Regos, colours registrations all manner of fees must be charged , are they all paid . It's a mountain under the carpet it seems . Madness, it's like a crazy story this NZ Racing .
  15. That is a very funny last paragraph , my old man used to pull stunts like that on me when I was a kid . Beat him 2 1 on little snooker table , and i mean little , it was sat top on of small dining table and I walk away a quid lighter in my money box .
  16. Some threads really morph like a transformer , Bankrupt or almost Bankrupt owner has horse with drug in system that regulates female reproduction cycle whilst currently idenfying as a male horse with no balls onto a court case in Australia onto some kind of Vatican money laundering situation . My pea sized mind boggles during these days of no pubs or tabs to go to during downtime .
  17. I think it is starting to get to point where life needs to move on a small bit and it appears it will or the economy will be a waste ground. Hospitals hardly overun so thats one acheivement of the lockdown .However racing was in the cack here way before this virus , any industry that has muppets miss calculating 3.8 mill in some bonus bet double up fiasco when money was tight anyway probably needs a kick up the back side and some accountants maybe retrained if iam being kind . Unfortunately those at the lower income scale will cop it . Racing will need to be leaner , I've got no idea whatsoever how it will end but it's no good blaming all racings problems on this.
  18. To be honest I've read little about it so don't know , only thing is we have to abide by court verdicts ,. As for AB , two samples positive surely he goes . No different to contaminated feed in most jurisdictions , or in Hughie Morrisons case a stable hand having a habit of peeing in a certain box at yard . The horse goes , trainer cops it normally but penalty adjusted as per whatever is on the rule books in jurisdiction . I think few years ago Red Mills sent out whole contaminated batch in Ireland , all the horses disqualified and trainers sanctioned only on paper to comply with regs . Discharge without conviction kind of thing .
  19. He was innocent in criminal court CT , civil case went differently on balance of probabilities .On the balance of probabilies though I wouldn't argue with him as he carves up the Chicken for dinner .
  20. Couple weird market moves in Sydney last few days , Waller's filly drifts more than the Marie Celeste on Monday and wins easier than any debutant I've seen for a while and Godolphin horse closes in big and just battles on . That's a bugger having 3.40 on a tighterner like that and it don't win , money usually right .
  21. This drug seems quite controversial overseas when googled , banned in some places because of the steroids . Looks like a fiery case upcoming .
  22. Regumate on geldings , is that normal ?? Seems odd there's a legit reason . Clearly iam lacking on medical knowledge but iam sure geldings don't come into season and I thought that's the reason for that drug to regulate it.
  23. People getting fun from BGP and it's in short supply for all at moment , it's a real good thing for racing , good idea for Championships too., I really enjoyed the Comp run on here this weekend so the team or competition punt is fantastic depending on what a person prefers . Just that I've read many posts from Rusty , he's a big BGP fan, think he posted some Winx pics on a BGP trip once so in to it and from what I've seen involved in things they run that's all. Iam told this morning that all their bets go up pre race on an app open to view or facebook . Good luck on punt today TM .
  24. Never really looked at BGP , good on anyone having a go though, they have a big following so it's good , good they warn people too .What I thought was odd is that you lay into the person putting up their bets , but that poster has put up their winning posts in the past and I've only ever read positive posts from him about BGP so why would they kick his arse . I've looked on their Facebook, they give the exact winnings from Rubisaki last week to the exact dollar , visible from a few key strokes so their punting isn't a state secret . Guess what bet big win big , bet big lose big thats how it rolls why would they kick that members arse then?
  25. I know the surface sometimes gets a dig from the pros but I mean the flow as they come into the straight and stretch to the line , good fair racing imho . Produces good finishes .
