starter lamb down in Canterbury seems to have lost his way starting races , ive been over the starts on the coast , he was yelling and abusing drivers, and now hes a stipe also, hes the all round man , think its time he is one or another , or go back to being the darfield cop
sorry to the rest of you guys, yes im not 100% on the spelling , but im sure you get my drift, i say it as it is, just i no who this guy is, born in cobden helps, and knowing hes got this small guy syndrome ,. and doesnt like when other people have a say over and above what he does.seems to think what ever he says is correct, but he always talks from his pocket, in other words backs the wrong horse.
he wasnt quite as good as the previous two, but i no he did beat them at some stage, the three had some real battles, when i said hall of famers, i mean those three in the day were famous, two of them had cult following.
i hear what you are saying , my point was harness horses like noodlum , commissionaire , and olga korbet were three horses in the 70s maybe early eighties who were pacing hall of famers in there own right, not as today, but some names today are not very original, and im dam sure the guys who name these new ones today no of the previous ones that were famous , thats my view anyway, might be wrong.
Ive just heard a galloper race in australia some provincial track , called stars and stripes , at {gosford} , if my memorys still working im sure barron had a pacer the same name some years ago, could run too
yes , i got that totally wrong, sorry, my memory is fading i think, time to look up rather than think i still no, not even sure if ricky played for chch united, if he did , i may of got it from that.you have a good day mate.
think clive herbert was from down this way in those days.{ south island , chertsey}, yes he was a big impressive type, had big motor, and just a tough rugged type
ok, think you are pretty right too, not sure where i got bebbington from, cameron had trotters going flat out all over the south in those days, scotch tar, and others, drove balgove { pacer } at same time
think the david moss stuff was frank bebbington ,his daughter married to andrew neal ,{ lynn ) and my god david moss could run, still holds records today , loved that horse.
good stuff, im not saying they are no good, both are champions in there own right , im speaking on topic about punting on them, they have history, have a good day mate
sorry k h havnt kept records , trust me though , dad was involved with derick j , and learn from my punting experienced , trust me , i lost plenty.took me 30 years to wake up
the best thing about american sports ,they start around 1pm, if your at work you will miss it,from a punting point of view , its over before the boss is home at 6
learnt from very young age with the butts / jones stables that they seem to target the $8 / $10 marks mid week , at least you can loose 7 times and then get your money back.
make a good point , frustrating when you punt on them or others you think should do better , ive had experience and history with them, prefer to see them on big days to be fair, same old old, go again next time
