  1. Just got an abusive FB message from him I thought he was busy being an ignorant uneducated rabid antivaxxer in Parliament grounds……turns out the eternal loser still has time to launch another futile attack on me
  2. Clearly you’re talking about Cubes… who apparently forgot to even participate last start
  3. It’s just like making love ( if any of you can remember back that far ) …….it’s not how you start, it’s how you finish that matters
  4. Both mine are at Caulfield Race 5 #2 Inundation R8 #4 Oxley Road Good luck losers
  5. Prince Charles is isolating at Balmoral with COVID 19 Prince Andrew is isolating at Windsor with Jennifer, 14
  6. Ok, the little master is having a go Both at Flemington R2 #2. Thron Bone R3 #4. Wrote To Arataki Good luck losers
  7. Pretty raw, lots to learn but that’s all “blue sky” and a good thing Nice enough type though and gets his head in the right place Derby type ?? …. certainly a stayer
  8. Fill us in with the juicy bits Cubes Did you hold her hand, or kiss, or God forbid, do horizontal folk dancing ?
  9. Who’s winning this scrap ? it seems like a ten rounder and we’re in the ninth, slugging it out, but it’s looking like a draw on my card
  10. I note Chris Waller is stating quite clearly that the horse is on his way home which kinda means he won’t be running in the Jubilee
  11. The value was yesterday….they were jumpers Saturday he’ll be slightly more complexed, although re Home Affairs, NS should have his measure comfortably given that he meets him so much better off, and at Flemington when HA beat him NS missed the kick, and there was only a lip in it on the line……and in their recent trial before leaving Australia NS pounded HA & the Freedman horse, on the bridle I shouldn’t be sharing this but NS traveled over far better too, he put weight on on the plane, the other horse lost a few kg ….read what you will into that ….if it matters at all
  12. And owned by a bunch of legend Kiwis, Paddy Harrison, Peter Kean, and some bloke named Sir Shag Hansen
  13. He’ll run Saturday … it’s what the owners want and surely Waller will acquiesce J Mac has to ride Home Affairs for Sir PJV and Coolmore, Jamie Kah rides the big horse, and he’ll trot up again He relaxes really well and doesn’t pull for her and she clearly suits him It’ll be really interesting because as he’s got older he’s taken a run more to hit his form, usually three runs into a campaign now, I suspect because he’s a bit fatter inside and because of his breathing Saturday will be his third run in if you count the flight over as a run….he could easily run five lengths above what he did last night, and demolish them again All he needs is something quick in there to lead him up so he does no work in the run
  14. I’ve had something on him at $2.70 .. I reckon that’s fair value What I can’t believe is the $1.40 the place FO…. he could run backwards and still be placed against these English sprinters, they’re just no good at the sprinting game, and even by their low standards this is an awful field I presume their best sprinters are waiting for the Jubilee … and even if they are Nature Strip will probably back up and beat them again
  15. This looks a great race to me I can’t see Nature Strip being beaten if he’s at his best Golden Pal is quick but he’s not a great traveler, and he’ll be tested late up the Ascot hill The way I see it Golden Pal leads them up doing all the work, and gives Nature Strip a nice drag into it, then the big horse just strolls on by The rest of them are jumpers and should be ten adrift Informed thoughts please ……..
  16. Re Nature Strip He's won 10 million pounds … the USA horse has won a million NS is a poor breather and that’s exacerbated early in his campaigns, he’s inclined to pull a bit when fresh, or in slow tempo races, and when he pulls he doesn’t breathe as well, hence he doesn’t quicken off the bridle …..neither of those scenarios apply here He’s not a wet tracker either, but he does have a very powerful action that means he can plough through wet loose tracks better than most, and being heavy chested a wee bit of give in the ground helps because he’s not hitting the ground quite as hard Ascot is ideal for him with the grass cut longer than he’s used to He should get a fast pace so he won’t pull He’ll love the uphill finish with his big powerful action I’m told he’s travelled a treat and he actually put 2kg on during his flight I saw a video of him doing a wee bit of work at Ascot the other day, he looked pretty chilled I’m seeing him sitting about fifth with a wee bit of cover from that draw, J Mac will show him a bit of real estate about 400 out, he’ll slide into it on the bridle then just ease away and win by four, on the bridle …J Mac won’t even rotate the stick If he’s at his best, and all indications suggest he is, he’s lengths better than this lot, most of whom are, to be frank, just third level mugs
  17. You’re full of shXt PS None of the Inca charges went to trial, NONE, they were all ruled by Judge Neave to lack substantive evidence and thus couldn’t proceed to trial. Neave has systematically pulled them apart, every single one of them, just as he will almost certainly do with the one remaining race under scrutiny Even Police National HQ ( Andrea Quinn ) have said they never had any evidence to back up the charges, but that this whole fiasco was “driven by others”……you decide who the “others” are but I’m guessing at least one Chch based active cop, and one bitter ex cop who’s a salaried member of the RIB staff were directly involved You’re obviously a failed punter based on the way you interpret this, in the same style as the Japanese car importer who made the original allegations here was a failed punter, and as it happens he was in a civil dispute with the main player who was falsely alleged to orchestrate the mythical race fixing History will judge the narcs and those who orchestrated this farce very harshly in my view
  18. Yes three big names had all charges dropped last week due to lack of credible evidence No person has been found guilty of any Inca related charges, however some have been found guilty of unrelated matters discovered during the 10 million dollar Inca investigation . There is only one race still being scrutinised, at Manawatu, it involves two individuals but there are no betting irregularities, no money trail, and the net result of the horse starting twice at the meeting was a $60 win to the connections It’s absurd because the Police evidence is based on “how many times a driver looks over his shoulder in a race”. It’s just another demonstration of how stupid and ignorant of race driving the investigators are It would have zero chance of succeeding in a jury trial because every top class driver in the world would testify against the crown What is disturbing is that the RIB is trying to take all the Police evidence / surveillance and use it to charge those accused under the rules of racing, and that’s a grave concern because whilst it’s unlikely the courts will acquiesce to this demand for police orchestrated evidence we know from experience that some JCA members are very unprofessional and in fact are more RIB puppets than objective judges ( note I said some, others are fine, but it shouldn’t come down to luck of the draw when it defines your livelihood )
  19. In fairness I think most AWT effective horses have more of a winter / wet type of action ….so the AWTs will probably be the default winter racing surface
  20. There’s a public poll by Curia out in ten days …..my chances are very very high, I’ll probably poll second in the poll but come October 8th I’ll win in a landslide…..and once again I’ll prove that kids who leave school at 15 and become jockeys can do anything…if they want to, and they’re given the opportunity Thanks Rev
  21. Never forget you lot, this was fuelled by a failed punter & Japanese used car importer, aided and abetted by a bitter cop who thought he hadn’t quite killed enough in the Blue Magic drama, and wanted more The sooner you stand up to this disinformation and evidence fabricating the sooner you’ll move on, and reclaim the moral high ground Champion racehorse drivers Blair Orange and Dexter Dunn raided by police https://www.nzherald.co.nz/sport/champion-racehorse-drivers-blair-orange-and-dexter-dunn-raided-by-police/HESEHY2BPGR5FSGUW6LD2XOXBA/
  22. A very interesting story ( albeit not about racing ) Police orchestrating evidence and withholding disclosure for a mentally vulnerable man, who then got life in jail Same investigator as the dude who proved Teina Pora was innocent, same police tactics too. Be interesting to see if the same police investigators were involved Alan Hall: Murder conviction set to be quashed after decades, Crown acknowledges miscarriage of justice - NZ Herald https://www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/alan-hall-murder-conviction-set-to-be-quashed-after-decades-crown-acknowledges-miscarriage-of-justice/R6BICJB6STW2XD2DLAC7YTSI6A/
  23. He didn’t cause any controversy, a steady hand on the wheel, he was approachable and I always found him a fair & reasonable bloke to deal with I’d suggest he was quite an improvement on the bloke before him !!!
