  1. their will be a arrangement for a "pay as you race " of a $1.00 per week over 5 years and carry on as normal. ha ha
  2. Will not happen, unless you win lotto and put your money up.
  3. John Goode i agree with re racing at auckland very boring 318m races race after race no disagreement but you seem to have a thing about aucklanders not travelling please name the trainers. the only trainers i know of in the auckland area are trainers with only 2/3 race dogs such as the cleaver boys.Halley mullane is in the Auckland area and is down at wanganui racing today and travels to Palmy.there is no one else to my limited knowledge who trains in the auckland area certainly no big trainers maybe craik not sure if he lives waikato or auckland but saying that ben has done thousands of ks or miles over the last 30 years.sp please name the lazy trainers who will not travel that reside in the Auckland area ???
  4. You are way off the mark 3 reasons why. (1)mr goode your saying lazy auckland trainers will not travel to the waikato. have a look and see how many trainers are living in the auckland very few have you noticed the prices of land in the auckland area? IF NOT MR GOODE have a look !. i say the this one of the reasons for ten races is because the over kill of races in the CD. palmy, yesterday, wanganui 14 races today, wanganui wed, & once again wanganui friday.!!! (2) the fees nzgra set per pup $50 to register & and the silly price of $1600 to register a stud dog not mention straw prices and the cost of rearing. these costs are killing breeders!!. (3) stupid quota system of 20 dogs imported per month!! . we never had this problem before the quota system came in and Mr Dickison stopped exporting. Mr Roberts used to bring a trailor load of dogs up to the waikato every Thursday not any more we are now stuck with 10 races.it will not be long before we get 8 races at Cambridge and do you know realize what happens with only 8 races? the meeting is abandoned!! The nzgra stated on their recent road show that there will be a short of dogs in 2021 well do not worry about 2021 the way we are heading there will be no dogs at waikato in 12 months time. a change in direction is required urgently by nzgra new committee urgently reqired at waikato before the club is made redundant. We require new board members on the nzgra with in depth knowledge of greyhound racing. no independant board members.!!
  5. one must book the solo trial no later than 48 hours of race day so i gather you would be within your rights to change the solo as long as you are still outside that 48 hours in side the 48 hours it would be taken as a scratching .( supposed to be race day conditions). ring the " special project manager" ha ha
  6. its the faster dogs who cannot get a run !! the clubs cater for squib races heaps of c1/2. cut the stakes of squib c1/2 give the stakes to 457/500 & beyond. go back to 4 misses once a dog reaches c2 no down grade for 300 m squibs the above will get rid of all the slow 300m squibs.
  7. a very nice stayer in victoria but no where near the best. just shows how weak the staying ranks are across n.z.may be ring the bells racing form will encurage more aussie stayers that are just below the cream in aussie to come over and excited us all like ring the bell is. note for John goode.these dogs can only be good for the racing industry in nz not stopping them from coming over the ditch. .
  8. GREAT WIN BY A MASTER TRAINER AN UNSUNG HERO WHO RACES FOR THE DESIRE AND THRILLS OF GREYHOUND RACING. WELL DONE MIKE YOU ARE A LEGEND OF OUR GREAT SPORT PS I HOPE YOUR YOUNG BLOKE HAD A BIT OF THE $30 ODD DOLLARS .I AM SURE LINDA WOULD HAVE. GREAT WIN.
  9. A GOOD READ MIKE.
  10. Yes sorry to leave any trainers ( as they say too many to mention just a few off the top of my head) yes Yape friday will be a exciting night ,albeit it is very hard not to see ring the bell making the stayers race a once dog race. but alas the brilliant field in the sI final is brilliant more than worthy of a nz cup field.great depth to the race and the box draw makes the race very interesting.its a shame it is not a G1 race. any how good luck to all the participants and may the night weather be kind.
  11. the south island in particular has the knack of bringing endless depth of talented dogs through the grades.it does not matter if they are imported or bred in nz .it is amazing we seen these addington/south island "flying machines" come out and run 3020/30 week out week in.its very exciting to be a punter and have deep depth in a field.the tab turnovers must be easily the best in the country.and the racing is so exciting not being dominated by one trainer or kennel, there is Roberts,Adcock,Fahey & Robin Wales all with a great depth of dogs in their respective kennels. has the depth of 500m dogs at the current time ever been stronger in the south island?in my humble opoinion is no we are seeing great depthof talent where given on a single night any dog can beat any dog.the south champs final will be a "cracker" where "LUCK WILL BE A FORTUNE" i for one cannot wait for next thursday nights final.good luck to every one. this race is a punters dream. thank you trainers for sourcing or breeding such brilliant dogs.the talent is endless.
  12. thank you modest mouse.
  13. eyespy where did you spy that there was 22 new registrations today?
  14. quick fix reduce stakes for 300 squib races and increase 457 & beyond.
