That doesn't seem correct, look at recent foxton trials, Kurtis name is on those horses that he trailed that day and now those horses dont have a active trainer assigned to them, but his name is still on the trial results.

If it starts at 5pm today, then why the need for NZTR to remove his name from the horse trial results?

Surly only the RIB can make that decision and delay the start date? Will they release the report as to reason why it was delayed?

The power of ‘Race Cafe’……..Riccarton now updated again to soft 7. Why not get it right the first time, at 9am it was Soft 5 now at 10:23 its a soft 7…….can no one running this industry even do the basics right, TAB markets are open for punters, the least we can ask for is accurate information.

20mils of rain overnight at Riccarton and the track is still a ‘Soft 5” same as yesterday rating? Does this seem correct (asking some locals)? Im wanting to put bets on today based on track conditions but nervous given Riccarton's questionable accuracy around track ratings.

Clubs get paid from NZTR to host race meetings, are we not at the stage NZTR should be telling these clubs not to charge for entry?

Are grass trials slowly being taken away from the Sth Island? We are close to spring racing, cup week horses also getting ready, and in Aug, Sep, Oct the total number of grass trials in the Sth Island is a grand total of 2!

Just so people realise, it’s not exactly a “one win race”. As at start of the season you have to be a one win horse, race is not until January. For example a horse that was in the derby (and has one one win as at 31 July) could target this race. The field that lines up in the race will be full of multiple winning horses come January.

Maybe to try and keep progressive staying 4yr olds in the country instead of being sold or moved to Australia?
