What happened to each team having a plain colour such as black/red/green etc then different caps, would make it a lot easier.
These mickey mouse patterned colours just dont work.

The concept isnt the issue at all just the choice of the strange patterned colours, good basic contrasting colours would have made tmuch more user friendly, Ellerslie may have tryed to get a bit fancy on it.

Haunui's stallions are some of the best in the country.  Shrewd judges.  Have a very athletic Showcasing yearling filly,  very closely related to Hardline and today's Wakefield winner...sometimes the dice rolls the right way!

6 of Pierro’s 7 stakes performers 1st dam’s are by Danehill line stallions (Flying Spur, Redoute’s Choice, Exceed & Excel, Rock Of Gibraltar
The other stakes performer’s (Pinot G1 Oaks winner) 2nd dam is by Danehill
So an obvious click there already with Danehill featuring up close in damline of all of his stakes horses, so great outcross appeal.

Congratulations to Team Lowry, they do a great job with their team.
Has there ever been a 7yo having his 41st start that wins a WFA G1 race at his first attempt at a blacktype race?
    Incredible stat.

Big thing is training facilities and how the horses are worked, complete different style of training and a lot of it has to with facilities and the surroundings that overseas horses are stabled/worked in.
Lots of walking, plenty of slow work, not just galloping around a circle, working on the Heath, Uphill gallops, so many things .Completely different ball game
Anyone that's been lucky enough to visit the Newmarket Heath, Chantilly, The Curragh or the likes will have an understanding of how different it is, you really have to visit to really understand how different it is

    3 from 16 now!
Easy Beast does look promising being city performed last season and he put away a very poor field very well,
More my point is it is extremely early days , Power has left multiple stakes horses from his first crop, so has Highly Recommended And Burgundy.
Reliable Man has left a G1 performed filly and at least 3 Australian winners
All went to stud the same time as Super Easy, when they have finished their 3/4 year old seasons you gain a better guide

What does a slot go for? $700,000 round about. So there's $8.4million in stake. Only had to come up with another $1.2 million for the total pool which I'm pretty sure would've been the sponsorship price for The TAB.
What does it achieve? You can't be serious? This is a race that's had it's own program on Sky Racing for weeks in the lead up because there's so much interest.
Caulfield Guineas Day next weekend, 4 G1's down in Melbourne, now Sydney have a $10million dollar sprint on the same day. If that doesn't generate viewership on that Saturday then what will?
ATC have also put on international super star artist Jason Derulo to perform for an hour after the last.
You're always talking about getting young people to the races. Well what better way to do that than to encourage the younger generation to get suited up and enjoy a day at the races followed by the chart topping artist performing to close out the day?
Jason Derulo 2 hour concert would set ya back $150-$200
Day at The TAB Everest races and an hour of Jason Derulo will cost you $30.

This concept should be applauded. But of course, it's spring time. Tall Poppies everywhere....

Yes I concur , you would be brave paying that this year and if something doesn't get up and go for him he may be a hard sell at next years yearling sales as well.
Seems it only takes a week or three to change buyers opinions on stallions in this game, we all remember they were giving away free Tavistocks at the weanling sales with every catalogue at one point.

Pretty similar kind of numbers, Frankel is doing a good job and Galileo definitely gathered momentum the longer his stud career has gone on ( with no signs of stopping!) , I did mention that the Frankel's are only about to finish their 3yo seasons though
The stats are missing number of G1 winners though.
Frankel has done very well in terms of stakes winners and general stats which no one is disputing but his progeny have struggled to win at G1 level especially in UK/Europe, he currently has the 1 G1 winner in Japan, maybe this will change and hopefully it does!

Do you have the quality/stats of Galileo's first book?, I think that was what you were originally asking for/discussing not so much the stallion's record?
Picking Nathaniel to be the next Galileo is a massive call though!

The majority of the prizemoney is coming from the slot holders, not Racing NSW.
The funding is completely different to any other race so is basically just rich peoples (slot holders) money to be won by a combination of a rich slot holder and the owners of the actual horse.
Not Racing NSW funding the race so no big loss for them!

See statistics below. One further very big point. Galileo's first crop statistics will not change below. However Frankel's first crop are still 3yo's!

Really...what drugs are you on? I want some.
Nathaniel has produced a champion and statistically would be 20 lengths inferior to Galileo at the same stage.
Frankel is tricky because he covered 87 group or listed mares to get to where he is. Whenever they get to a group one race they don't quite get there. Not saying they won't but at this stage his mares are carrying him.

Yeah possibly, I think he was asking for the quality of book Galileo currently serves compared to Frankel
When Galileo retired he was a high profile stallion after winning The Derby, The Irish Derby an The King George as a 3yo and he was himself out of an Arc winner.
I'm sure he would have served a quality book but pretty sure it wouldn't have been the quality/size of Frankel's first book, from memory Galileo sired 4 individual G1 winners from his first crop, currently Frankel is at 1 (nearly finished 3yo seasons).

I think Galileo deserves the best mares that are around!, he has sired 259 Stakes Winners! Including 70 individual G1 winners!
