  1. CosmicBlackie I know that, was just makin a point, for mine a resounding 2 lengths win with authority would've been more convincin.....yeh I read that too Eljay...... Cheers Iraklis
  2. Lamour mate not knockin Krug just sayin for mine, do not think he was in beast mode at Cambridge, and would need to be when takin on the aussies shortly, the two horses that chased him home the other night got too close in the run home (most especially H&T) not sayin Belle would've beat him; just sayin look how much ground they made up on him. Sure he got across ran it from the front (on the marker pegs) etc etc, the other two were one out the whole race, and, had to come from behind, and step round other runners to make their challenges; come on lamour bet you were one who said to yours
  3. Lamour, but he (H&T) came so damn close and for that matter so did the Belle rocketin down outside good to see her back to somethin like her ol self.....oh I have no doubts about Krug and his abilities I hope this time in aus he shows them his very best beast mode...... Cheers Iraklis
  4. Hi KTHonest, I guess for me it was the way he (HNT) took ground off Krug, and he did race 1 out from the fence on a hot pace, get round another horse to make his challenge.....bloody awesome effort Cheers Iraklis
  5. Pure mate I had to laugh, if that was Krug in beast mode then HotAndTreacherous must've been in bid bad monster mode don't get me wrong that was bloody good run by Krug but the eyecatcher for mine was the runner up, from behind like that and to take that much ground off Krug who I might add wasn't shaggin about either.....Krug is gunna meet some as tough in aus, just sayin I wish them all the best for their trip over the ditch, hope he gets to show em what he's really like ie. The Derby 21 with the Iceman aboard corr....now that was beast mode Cheers Iraklis
  6. Who in here was totally convinced on Krug's performance yesterday? if the go button to aus for him is on, then I reckon the horse that almost caught him HotAndTreacerous should be goin too! boyyyy he ran him close, too bloody close hope his owners are thinkin on it hard.... Cheers Iraklis
  7. Saw this on the Herald website, it's hard case watch featuring Zac Butcher drivin racenight bloody brilliant.....https://www.nzherald.co.nz/sport/racing-harness-drivers-hilarious-insight-into-raceday/CCK3OK6W2YM4HCD53XWRUDZ7GY/ Cheers Iraklis
  8. Oh I see Nelli, tiz a bloody poser alright.....you'd probably need to get a decent group of people together to have any real effect, while your a lone voice nobody cares Cheers Iraklis
  9. Hey Nelli mate, perhaps you should really moan to the Club about his handicaps, I for one would not want to see him bein hammered off huge handicaps all the time, as I said he will try his guts out regardless and that'd not be an awesome watch would it? as I'm not a bettin person I just love to see him run, and I thank gawd they got him back to the races, that's it....why would you say that Bolt will be gettin the same 'generous' handicap? that cos that implies summit else, I mean you clearly got a gripe, perhaps you should take it to the right people, just sayin....yes Sickopunter, he's (Temp
  10. Nelli, mate I'm glad you acknowledge his handicap conditions were set by the Club, however I personally wouldn't call his wins gifts or easy, he still has to put in the effort and he does so in spades hes honest as day is long those wins they have all come from behind off handicaps, it can start to tell on a horse and he aint gettin any younger..... Cheers Iraklis
  11. Yep agree Eljay mate, just not that sting there like he used to have, hey he's a stallion so maybe other things on his mind? he certainly aint the horse that ran away with TonyH when he drove him... Cheers Iraklis
  12. Thankyou Janitor mate, yeh there'll be more to this I'd say Cheers Iraklis
  13. Eljay mate I do even if you don't, and I'm sure there are others out there who do too.....that run wasn't her (BettorTwist) champion mare like her gotta be summit not right Cheers Iraklis
  14. Oh come on Nellie any horse who has to start off back marks all the time and still gets the job done, or runs 2nd, aint always gettin it easy in his races....was bloody good race Tempey parked out the whole way, and still fought Bolt in the run home, it was a mighty run from him 9yrs young tiz Tempey with the heart of Phar Lap, Bolt is a big bold young gun about to come into his own, and was always gunna be hard to hold out, don't he look great in full flight mode, love him..... Cheers Iraklis PS. does anyone know what happened with Bettor Twist?
  15. Me fav Temporale, is takin on Bolt For Brilliance tonight in the trot and geez I'm torn, I love em both, but I wish they could draw this and guys did yuh see True Fantasy, she cruised it, if only our local LadyOfTheLight could've been a few possies closer in the runnin..... Oh an Happy New Year guys may 22 be a ripper for Harness yusssss!!!! Cheers Iraklis
  16. Janitor, not tryin to rile yuh, just statin a fact; and I say again all of those horses had their chance to gun CopyT down at any stage during the race, all of em including yuh fav Laver, they weren't able to do so....it's done and dusted, pointless tryin to take away from the horse now, for whatevea reason, tiz history Cheers Iraklis
  17. Janitor mate, all horses in this years Cup field had their chance to run the CopyT down, he was out front and sittin duck for all of them turnin in, to the little fellas credit he just had too many guns, hardly a gift he won it fair and square..... Cheers Iraklis
  18. I guess being closest to the horse they know what they're doin.....from Lincoln Farms website Copy That coping well in confinement but what’s stranded Ray to do for two months? By Barry Lichter • 28 December 2021 Copy That is such a good patient, he’ll handle his confinement better than his trainer, says Lincoln Farms’ Ray Green. Copy That, lame with a fractured splint bone, has handled the first day of three weeks’ box rest like a pro. But Green is far more stressed, joining thousands of fellow Kiwis stranded overseas with New Zeala
  19. Why don't they just list the 22 dates like a normal calendar list under its own title 2022 harness racing dates, be helluva lot easier to find and check.... Cheers Iraklis

  21. Guys you know the more I looked at the race, True Fantasy, really ran bloody well for a 2yr old filly, boy if she keeps this up she'll be a force in the near future..... Cheers Iraklis
  22. Janitor mate nice to see yuh fav get one for yuh good run by the filly True Fantasy for 2nd.... Cheers Iraklis
  23. Actually NedKelly, in JJ's defence he most certainly does not condone horse racin cheats of any kind, so those comments are unkind; and you did say at the start of your post 'a pair of cheatin bastards' he was just askin one was named, who was the other, even DroveAFew queried the pair bit, just sayin..... Cheers Iraklis
  24. No passin lane on a big track like that? I was wonderin why Ants switched to the outside in the Trot Final..... Cheers Iraklis
