If they only started 14 horses at Trentham on Saturday, would be interesting to know which 3 horses would not have made the field and therefore disappointed many owners. (the rating's of Faraglioni and Malt Time on LoveRacing is 95 but I'm assuming that is their new rating after placing in the race).

Saw the interview and had a little chuckle when she dropped the "shit". She's obviously worked very hard for all the amount of time she's been out as she's looking very fit and healthy. And she liked the chances of her mount in the last and I was happy as I got it earlier at 16's FF. I obviously expected it to drop in a bit after the interview... End up closing at 26's!!!... argh

One thing I take from watching the video is that Tony said he is a contractor and not an employee. As we all know when any restructure happens the first people thrown on the scrap head are the contractors as it costed the company $0.00 to dump them. So feel if Tony was an employee he'd still be around but instead is a victim of circumstances.

I think Peter R S is probably kicking himself right now.. He was one of the people with 4 runners in the Top 8, but unfortunately he was the only one who didn't include Soulcombe... but then including Soulcombe could have been at the expense of one of others that finished Top 8.

As mentioned, 12 people with 4 horses in the Top 8... I was half expecting 20 people to end up with 7 out of the 8. But Pottsie wins the comp by having 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 7th. Von Cettes the runner up by having 1st, 2nd, 4th and 6th. Tie-breaker rules gave it to Pottsie because his first different runner finished in a higher placing.

My provisional placings are: 3, 6, 14, 11, 12, 7, 22, 24. 12 people with 4 horses running in the Top 8 so will take a little time to figure it all out. But Pottsie seems to have his nose in front at the moment as he was the only one who had Sheraz as a Top 8 finisher, so tie-breaker rules favours him.
