That is very sad to hear, I liked Edith a lot God the last time I saw them Edith and Owen had bought this property in Masterton I mean this house was huge it had a ballroom and library apparently the house in the early 1900s was the swinging place in Masterton. I can remember Owen converted one space into an empty out yard it had a roof over it so the dogs wouldn’t get wet when it was raining when they wanted a pee.. They had Edith’s mum living with them, she was a real hard case. Good memories.. Very sad

I think you’ll find the larger kennels tend to have security cameras where as the smaller kennels don’t tend to go down that track

I would suggest that you were being set up by the activist.. you want to have a look around as I’m sure they would have set some cameras up around where the carcass was.. same as what they were trying in Aus

If I remember correctly a young child , I think either 10 or 12 years of age witnessed exactly what is now under investigation he was so disturbed of what he had seen he went home and told his mother. I think his mother either went to the police or Greyhounds NZ to lay a complaint, I think at the time B Cole and young child were interviewed and unfortunately they believed B Cole rather than the young lad.. That should have set warning bells off then I think Greyhounds are finished in New Zealand as I hear they have the wood on a Foxton trainer

There couldn’t be a truer word spoken, good people within this sport are sickened to the core as to what this kennel has been getting up to.. The really sad thing about this whole affair is the complaints fell on deaf ears and there were many complaints.. Im sure that the extent of how deep this protection of certain trainers goes will come out in the wash.. To cleanse the sport of this type of behaviour would be an absolute blessing

Will think you'll find the girls were given a sizeable cash payout so would imagine there rights to take it further would be snuffed out by them accepting a large cash payout..
