  1. Where does Milwood Nike fit in the picture?
  2. Nathan drove DAF cold. Never put DAF in the race until the finishing straight. Should have made a move from the 600.
  3. The photo of four drivers at Methven on Sunday has Ricky wearing his top that has Sarah O"Reilly embroided on it. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    HRNZ.

I see them pushing Dorothy Cutts as the first woman to win a tote race. Who was Una Anson?
  5. Dont think so. I think his marriage fell over.
  6. Keith Lawlor struck a good one.
  7. Race 6, no. 8. Check out the breeding. Syd Brown from Dunedin. Horse is related to Field Marshall. Also Terry McDonald and Eddie Griffin have had success with the same bred. Just watched the replay, wow, 3 wide after 200 metres, dropped back to last, looped the field and cleared right out.
  8. When did the club fold up? I see the trotting track has been removed alltogether. A lot of old stalwarts in the club.
  9. A good bit of effort by Matty. Race 5 at Addington. Any old Dunedin guys, from the 70s, would know the owner. I am pretty sure the owner bought a broodmare from the Fred Oliver dispersal sale in Oamaru. The owner was good mates with Eddie Griffin.
  10. Is Oscar still 2 stone heavier?
  11. Oscar Bonavena did not look too good with his action in the back legs. Looked like he was not stretching out.
  12. So good to see Nathan get some good horses around him. Hidden Talent almost got to open class, Pembroke Playboy almost got to open class. Nathan deserves a shot at the top. Father Phil had nearly 10 years without a winner years ago until Role Model turned up.
  13. Who had a collect off Mantra?
  14. Are stallion fees to high?
  15. Poor Neil got hounded by the stipes. Got to get to the front no matter what it costs.
  16. Colin McLachlan, Was another example. DL McGregor from Ashburton (Pacific Pearl) was a wet track trainer. Ed Forsyth from Waimate churned out some good winners. Sam Henderson churned out a few winners.
  17. Dunedin City Council will flick the land off and pocket a few million.
  18. Nelli, Add New Plymouth to the list.
  19. What happened to this horse?
