Well done great win but you can't have it both ways, if Purdon's horse had tested positive and then won a race like that, we would be calling him a cheat and asking what it's taking. No one is saying that about your horse (even tho it has tested positive in the past hasn't it?) so sometimes it better to be the under dog with no pressure or expectations

Will be interesting what the Allstar haters think of this? Cobalt is probably the worse of most drugs as it's very dangerous for the horses, how you handle having a metal compound injected.

But if you seriously think the All Stars win ALL there races because they are all on drugs you are the one on the drugs.They have the best horses mate and the best trainer that helps a bit They have a lot of staff and if they've kept it secret this long they are truly freaks!!!!

It's the same owners all the time as well perhaps we should ban them from buying any horses for a year i'm sure the breeders won't miss the millions they reinvest at the sales each year!!?? Or make them send them to Peter Brown or Stu Bob instead?

Must agree i was surprised she gave the lead up but then you consider she had to burn to keep the lead and then Purdon had the whip out when attacking for the lead (something he doesn't do alot) i guess she didn't have a choice knowing there was a third filly good enough to run second in the field.

'Like water though cobalt is obviously toxic at some level'? are you serious? How about you take some for a while and see what happens. Any trainer giving this stuff to horses should be banned. Very harmful to horses in the kind of levels found in drugged horses. Organ failure is one the things that it can cause.

There's 7 horses paying under $2 on fixed odds tonight only three are trained by Purdon, so which of the seven would you 'take out'? And regards Guerin he seems to get a lot of 'information' wrong about the Purdon stable so can't be too close.

Tough run but at best he's only running for third regardless where he draws. Other than the two Purdon horses hard to know how good the other 3yos are that are racing in NZ. Are those two that much better or the rest only above average?

It's not possible! To test 600 it would have to be injected everyone knows that. Feel free to show anything that says otherwise. PS Lance was my idol growing up, i believe any trainer using Cobalt should be banned for life, very dangerous at those levels.

To get 1400 the feed must've been all cobalt! My understanding is that to test over 200 it needs to be injected. Some racing areas have 50 as there limitand Hong Kong has 100, IF the feed had that much cobalt in that company should be in a lot of trouble!! Any trainer giving their horses large amounts of it should be banned for life.

Has any stable ever had a 3yo crop like this years? Lazarus, Waikiki Beach, Dream About Me and Golden Goddess plus add in Chase The Dreams and i don't think anyone will ever match it again. Good luck to Purdon placing them next year, but with Waikiki Beach and Dream About Me access at OC in NZ already i doubt we will see them much as 4 year olds. Great fun watching them smash the Aussies.

So if you were driving you would've tried and held the lead against one of the most aggressive drivers round, on a horse as good as the one you're driving and hoped you held on???
