  1. It's because no one ever beats the JCA who find them guilty no matter what. It is well established amongst the drivers that they are better to plead guilty or take a harder penalty for pleading not guilty. Have you seen anyone win after pleading not guilty regards the new whip rules? Waste of time.
  2. RIU have said they are happy with drivers who stop driving to win close to finish if they get to the 10 strikes. The 10 strikes is more important than winning. Their own words to me in the Stipes room.
  3. Animal welfare will not win. They can't shut down Rodeo so what chance horse racing?
  4. Obviously not a horseman. Kiwi professionals who have driven in the 2 countries in the world Norway and Germany who have no whip have said the horses don't try without it. The industry will shut down if they ever do it here. Punters will bet on other sports or overseas racing.
  5. It's no use saying the supplement was labelled as "no positive" on the packaging after the cobalt threshold was introduced. Right up till then it was fine and not against the rules to give horses extra cobalt. I would have gone over all feed and supplement packaging to make sure it didn't have cobalt as an ingredient once the RIU put it on the banned list. What about a suspension though? Obviously he asked for a fine only so it really could have been something like a $10,000 fine and 3 months suspension which wouldn't be too bad through the winter racing. One of the Dalgety's accomplished foremen could have kept the stable ticking over like Mark Purdon did with Grant Payne.
  6. but did you watch the video first?
  7. Did some of my own homework and found you on facebook John Thompson. Now I realise what I'm dealing with and I'm scared. https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100009246101179&fref=photo
  8. Dickhead call me Craig and I'll call you dickhead and we'll see who gets sick of it first. Lets see now. Sits one out and two back. Gets the drag up into the straight by the one one horse and nabs it on the line even if he threw in a roughie which cost him half a length. Goes 1.47.5 on the fastest track in the southern hemisphere after following all the way. The leader set the pace he just followed. Very average horses run 1.51 on the track. It's all hype that's all. He just won the race. Nothing special at all. Did he run them into the dirt like the greats did in the past? Did he come from last like Young Quinn and Locarno did on a 700m track? Was Adore Me there? What about Christen Me? There were only 4 or 5 good horses in the race. Not a whole field of champions like the past. Do I have to go on? Okay dickhead?
  9. And I just checked the stewards report to see if Valmagne got swabbed but I see he wasn't. Will you make a big conspiracy out it now? Were the stipendiary stewards in on the big betting plunge? But why did Blair Orange drive it for luck and risk not getting a run? Was last on the inside for the last lap and never even tried to make a move. Funny way to dope a horse by sitting 4 back the inside and hoping for a run. And still no comment about all the video links proving the horse always pulls up like that every time he goes a good race. So is this thread about Valmagne being doped up or about EXPOSING Craig? Expose him as what? Me? Who cares anyway?
  10. Despised by so many? Really? If that isn't nasty then what is? I wonder just how many readers of this would agree with you. Those that know him. I wonder if they despise him. And anyway do you actually know him yourself? Have you kept up with my posting for the last few months? I might come across as cocky here but I know more than anyone else posting here about the game and it's only logical that I'd know more about most of the industry participants as well as I have been in it for more than 30 years. It's a small world you know. But then you wouldn't have a clue. The only John Thompson I know of was Catherine Butt's dad and brother to David Thompson and John had the cup horse Bad Luck. But he passed away a few years ago. John Thompson's father was a very well respected policeman in Belfast according to everyone who has spoken about him and the family with me. Anything you want to know about someone in the game John? I know lots of gossip too but wouldn't divulge it here. It wasn't hard to realise that Craig has been at Cambridge or Auckland with his horse being up there but I knew it was Cambridge after talking with Sean last week at the sales. Why defend him? Well I thought I was defending myself. You keep calling me Craig. I got intrigued though to check up and see how well his family was doing. Thanks for bringing it to my attention JayTee. Like you I must admit to being more than a little envious myself. And yes I have been a race café warrior from the past myself and make a comeback every so often. You know like many posters here. And I definitely remember Craig posting here too. I'd say everyone does. He stirred up the natives one could say.
  11. You're nasty little guy JayTee. Gee you really do have it bad don't you? So how many times does one tell himself something to convince himself it's true? What did Craig do to you to make you this way and why wait till he had two wins in under 24 hours to do this? I think there is definitely more to this and it's clearly based on jealousy because of the successful weekend he had. This game is well known for envy and you have it bad.
  12. hehehe keep going JayTee. Nothing wrong with being called Craig I guess. Now you're making me envy the guy like you do. I ask you how can going 1.47.5 on a track where average horses run 1.51 be amazing and after following the 1-1 horse all the way compare with Mount Eden being 10 lengths behind at dispatch then looping the field mid race and winning by a big margin? And on Harold Park. Christian Cullen absolutely bolted in his year in 1.54 around Harold Park. A 700m track where the carts slid sideways at top speed. The horses and drivers had to lean in to the corners. Just answer the question instead of changing the subject all the time JayTee.
  13. Shit JayTee looks like you're going to be cheering for the boy Kennett at the next Olympics in Rio. A world champion. No wonder you're envious

  15. and I'm just sticking up for these guys just like I did Luk Chin and others on here. Yeah it's human nature to gossip like Jay Tee the old woman but there is going too far and this is over the top vindictiveness. Obviously fuelled by jealousy.
