  2. As i have stated on the other site i do not wish to get into a debate about this matter however to clear a few things up i was not trying to be difficult i feel the heat quite markedly and have always been an avid believer that as long as a handler is wearing the required clothing eg black pants and a white shirt then this should be enough. I dont personally feel that what a handler wears in any way affects turn over or the publics view on racing. I was in fact wearing more than the minimum dress standard as i was wearing a tie! whilst working on Trackside we are usually outside and it tends to be on a nightine at Addington. So it is nowhere near as hot as a day meeting at Forbury in the sun. Whilst working on Trackside i am not running around handling and kenneling dogs. There has been one occasion where i was workig through the day on Trackside in blistering heat. Auckland Cup meeting. I removed my jacket and as this was the common sense thing to do as i was clearly over heating it was allowed. Also a suit jacket is nowhere near as hot as wearing a jacket at Forbury. I was well within my rights at Forbury to not wear a jacket. The major incident had nothing to do with me not wearing a jacket. My brother Jason who is not a licensed person was asked to move on from the area where the dogs were coming from the kennel block. This Is what started the ensuing issues. This was nothing to do with me. I appreciate this was an incident that should not have happened and i am devastated about the actions of my brothers. It got way out of control and was simply ridiculous! I do not condone violence. This issue is in the hands of the police and they will prosecute how they see fit. I would also expect the GRNZ to be following up this matter and i will be more than accomodating to help them in any way they need. There was clear video evidence of the incidant so everyone will get prosecuted. As they well should. Thank you Andrew McCook
