just my local tab in rural taranaki. understand not having five figure sums of cash on hand so dont worry there. have had cheques from them before but new owners now and no cheques available as of yet.
I went into my local tab to withdraw everything out of my account today and was told they couldn't do cash which I understood. So I asked for a cheque, but they said they couldn't do that either! The only thing that they could offer was to transfer my account balance to a voucher so I could take it elsewhere to withdraw it. Yet when i asked to put a bet on the next race they were going to be happy to accept it!! have to wander whats going on at times.......
Guessing by some of the posts in this fourm that just like rollercoasters, there is a minimum height requirement to respect this horse. Did more work than anyone today and still had the fight to win. Myself i couldn't say it was a good ride but yet again, he can only do what he's asked and he is still doing that fairly easily
For me this is like watching a Black Caviar, a Winx, a sunline in full flight! Yes the result might be a foregone conclusion at times but geeze you have to admire the beauty of this machine at work.
super win, congrats to all involved. Whats peoples opinions about the quality of this race vs say the Makfi at hastings?? Looking forward to seeing more of this bloke as the spring progresses!
Can only beat whats in front of him, and did that fairly easily. For mine I don't understand the Winx argurment. She is clearly one right out of the top drawer. Don't think anyone's comparing Kawi to her. Don't think anything in Australasia for that matter is being compared to her. Will be alot more dodging her in the cox plate than just this bloke. Good horse, Good trainer. Surely that should be celebrated over those with liking for tall poppys........
Interesting to see in the results and breakdown of bids a few familiar names. especially on unreserved auctions where the same name biding on the lot is in fact the sole owner registered on NZ Racing. Know these things can be slow to update so have to give the benefit of the doubt.
Evening, cheers for the comments on my post. The cross I mentioned is little wonder x candy stargazer. Very much new to breeding so am just dipping my toes in so to speak. More than happy to pay for any advice.
Any thoughts on this?? or more to the point can it be done with any success?? Particular mating i'm currently pondering would make the resulting foal 2X3 back to Volksraad
Anyone know much about the info on the tab site at the moment?? Seems to be quite different than other sites. Eg. Weismuller showing up as having won $15,935 where NZRacing has the figure at $129,790.72 Any info appreciated
Cheers
Im sure Tauherenikau, Waverley, Hawera or Stratford for that matter would be glad to have another meeting added to their calendars. Potentially something barryb that you could get the ball rolling on.....
Cheers
Only looked at the cross as I saw a dehere mare go through the sales last year but she's as passed in. Started looking around to see what she could be put over. Might have to open the piggy bank if one with the right bottom line comes through this year. I might be wrong but I thing hauraki & set square are also a similar cross. Both handy cups horses in Australia. Cheers for the help and further insight everyone
Looking through a Hypothetical Foal and have noticed the aei for broodmares by xxxx when bred to xxxx is 9.09. Can anyone elaborate further as to what this means??
Thanks in advance
