    Yep

Sorry I get what you mean, you were naming the previous owners of Star Commander and not "A' who it seems shouldn't be named at this stage.

What will happen on the 12th.

Guessing its the case review hearing as it was originally scheduled to take place back on 25th March and has been put off a couple of times already.

  4. I remember Noodlums daughter Gavotte who raced in the same colours. Her victory in a DB Super Stars heat where she easily accounted for Mai Mai and Mels Boy was one of her best. John Versteeg was her regular driver.

Would these deferments be happening if they had evidence in spades, as some have suggested ?

I am sure they don't lack quantity. The quality will be the issue and they might have been confident someone would jump ship well before now.

Any word on why it has been deferred again.  Is this at the request of the defence or prosecutors?

Disclosure is still filtering through so it seems most likely prosecutors.

Further deferred - is it surprising?     Hell no!     What do they charge?       $200 plus an hour?      Any kid that says he wants to be a fireman or an astronaut when he grows up is a misguided fool -  law is the big word these days!!          :rcf-rich-1:

Pretty sure some legal bills upto and including first appearance were north of 15K

gawd it would be great to see him at The Park who knows summit may attract his connections this way, Auck Cup maybe, hell hes got it all ahead of him really, how excitin for them all, this is what it's all about ay guys

Safely and competitively through cup week surely he would target the interdoms.

  9. The listed Uncut Gems event for four-year-old and older pacers at Addington on June 14 will be U May Cullect’s next target.

Incredibly, the five-year-old should strip an even better horse for the 2600m feature.

“We had had a bit of a problem with greasy heel and the tides had been against us for the last two weeks.”

“So, we couldn’t follow our usual routine with him.”

“This run should top him off nicely for the Uncut Gems.”

You have drawn an unusual  response from  that silly HTP and his shadow Flag  with your innocuous comment. I sometimes wonder why they are so obsessed with you,Iralkis and FTM.

Aren't they the ones that left here for the darkside.

I'm hearing you. When Hands Down won it  DG had 2 starters and a toss of the coin in the house bar a few nights earlier saw Bob  Cameron take the reins with Peter driving the other.

Peter Jones won on both horses on day one. Hands Down won a lesser race thus graduating to the higher grade in which his stablemate had won on the first day. No idea about goings on in the house bar but I seems unlikely to have been the Invercargill Cup.

The chair of the New Zealand Metropolitan Trotting Club, Brent Smith said Addington is disappointed to lose Mr Jensen but understood his desire to take a leadership role with a broader industry perspective.

Mr Smith said: “Peter has achieved a great deal in his time at Addington. We are confident the business is in good shape and on track to remain New Zealand’s premier harness racing club.

Now is this the Armalight Brent Smith or the Yaldie Brent Smith or someone else?

Anyways I have 2 questions for Brent Smith.

    1) What has Peter Jensen achieved?

    2) What makes you believe the NZMTC is NZ's premier club?

He did not last long and  can anyone tell me what Smith was on about re "“Peter has achieved a great deal in his time at Addington" He inherited a thriving business from previous management and im wondering what others think

Standard babble when someone leaves, provided they are not in handcuffs.

Can anyone explain what the $1000 per week the tab are claiming per pod is made up of?

    The mind boggles.

Surely they don't pay a site rental.

There would be some set up cost re the POD and the 2 TV's maybe they supply a printer for doing the fields. I actually have no idea.

As for ongoing costs its hard to fathom.

I know they consider taking them out if the weekly turnover falls below $2500.
