I agree, to a certain extent. They are allowed free reign, and basically do what they like. I would like to see some leadership from HRNZ, through regulation of the breeding industry. If this doesn't happen, their product will simply stop being produced.

Could someone tell me one thing HRNZ has done that has helped encourage, or even maintain the breeding industry. Forgive me if I have overlooked some things, but from my view, as a small time breeder, they have done nothing but discourage me.

My take on the whole thing is pretty simple. Ricky May is one of the best drivers we have ever seen. Terror To Love is not one of the best horses we have ever seen. In fact when it comes to winning races against the best, and winning away from Canterbury, he's not that good at all.
