Yes there certainly been some great performers over the years, some of the other  Nairn trotters, started careers on the coast, even the mighty armalight and our mana won there first races at Westport,  just trying to recall if new age man won over there, I know the tough nut certainly did

Punting/tipping proved extremely tough on the grass today and I'm glade I forgot that meeting was on. Here are 4 that I think are worth a play tomorrow.

This is a horse I originally followed since his maiden voyage and he found his grade alot quicker than I thought he would and has been a bit disappointing. 
I think he gets into a winable Amateur Drivers race and the 1700m should suit.

Has gate speed to burn and finally gets a draw after drawing 7 and 10 in his first 2 runs back. Nice win chance!

This horse has done something wrong in a past life!! Let me paint a picture.... Here are his last 10 draws (8) (8) (8) (7) (13) (9) (7) (4) (8) (1).
You have to basically go back a year to where he received consecutive draws to work with. 
His form doesn't look that good here with 7 starts for 2 placings, but his last 4 starts have been here and check out those draws.
I think he's a really nice EW chance!

Has been super impressive to date winning 4 from 6. This is not much harder than his last start which he won from the stand. Smaller feild will see him get every opportunity and I'm liking the drop back to 2200m.

I still think back to that series when Our SIr Vancelot won. 
By memory Christian Cullen looked a good thing and pulled out injured after the first heat, then Agua Caliente looked unbeatable and the same happened then we had to give it up to the champion Aussie in the final where he led them a merry dance.  Classic series.

Seeing the FFA and Dominion today, both were spectacular performances and it gives us confidence that harness racing is bloody awesome at the moment, despite what the doom and gloomers may want to say about the current state of affairs.
Spectacular two days of racing, shame the usual crowds couldn't be in attendance.
Sundees Son was nothing short of sensational.  Star.

Yes, I am talking through my pocket cos I backed him. But, what a drive from Gerard O'Reilly pn the Court=trained No Time Like Now. Wow! Gerard said let's go at the 600m full throttled down and he didn't let up until the 200m when he coasted to any easy win. Yes, the horse has speed galore but it was still a daring drive from Gerard O"Reilly who I believe is the most underrated driver in the country. Drives like Gerard's make races exciting and worth watching. I don't why the horse was neglected in the betting but $42 thank you very much.

Got a bit adventuresome picking a few roughies but next weeks Cup week is the main dance for most , so unsure how many in lesser races would be 'busting a boiler'.And was nervous about picking in lower class trot races as hard to line up form.
Once I saw the divis on tote I did very well overall ! Even if I say so myself !
Next week is the big dance...even tho some of stakes not huge the races usually run at high speed ...much excitement , so the class horses come thru and the ones that sit back on the markers can run into a place at good odds !

Yes, and paid $3.60 here and I made my Sunday evening very spectacular.  That won't be her last win on that.
No, I don't consider her (not it) a motley horse or 'extremely motley' Jason.  Many of our best trotters over the past decades have only won a handful of races in there first 20-30 starts, I didn't think I needed to point that out.  Look at some of our G1 class trotters in the past, if I need to name a few please advise.  The ability this horse has shown on occasion to date means she could go quite a long way if things fall into place for her and the team.
It would be good if you be a little more positive from time to time.  Horses like this can catch the imagination of new racegoers, particularly for individuals that follow a career from start to finish.

Funny Face has a similar look and way of going as her grand dam Allegro Agitato. It will be interesting to see if FF develops the same speed.
