I agree with that Omjab horses are a whole lot more unpredictable and hard to handle after the their race than before! Seriously if you just put your shoulders back and walk with a purpose like you are ment to be there, don't make eye contact and just march through the gate to the tie ups, you have a pretty good chance of getting through. Its only the ones who are looking unsure and out of place that generally get stopped. At the end of the day unless its feature meeting at a main course, the person on the gate won't stop you if you look like you're ment to be there. Failing that go around the back and jump a fence, what's the worst they can do? Ask you to go back to the public area
