Just on point two, I think the attraction with Lotto is the fact that it's available easily the fact that there is a big a carrot at the end of it and also that you don't actually need to no anything to win much like the pokies. It's perceived that you need to follow horses to win anything.

That would mean I would have to miss the first leg of the third treble at the Darwin Greyhounds. With the third leg being a no tv race I would only be able to watch one leg of my treble or add to the $16 in the trifecta pool on one of the races.

If you read the full article his logic was quite sound. It was more about $1.75 being to short rather than the horse not being a chance of winning.

I agree, we all know if you follow any one tipping out selections in every race no matter who they are or what they call themselves you will come out horribly on the wrong side of the ledger. I could understand the narrative a bit more if Ivan was posting his selections as well as the Sharks.
