  1. Mr. Waters, Perhaps you could ring the 0800 Integrity number with your concerns?. I have no doubt what you are inferring has substance . The Integrity unit will follow up your claims with the upmost Integerous intensions and perhaps solve the underlying problems that seem to have existed for a long time...I wish you luck on behalf of all of the concerned and the thought of being moderated must be worse than anything you have experienced...?
  2. I didn't realise it was such a big issue Slim . The old Codgers Bill Hogeson and Steve Marr and Goldsack in the C.D. seem to have a fixation of boxing last quite distinctly The stipes do not ever address this . Also the two afore mentioned never run back to catch so I guess they have plenty of time to play around... There is possibly an advantage or disadvantage to be had so I think it should be an issue to be looked into and maybe the starters need a shake up for not reporting habitual offenders....
  3. JUST A SUGGESTION>>>>> The Chairman of your Greyhound Racing Board is a licensed trainer. Would it be fitting and Timely for him to state under oath perhaps that he personally has never been involved in this practise?,........... so that he can lead by an example those under his control to once and for all clean this shocking revelation up.
  4. I guess then at the time, you would have been puzzled over Bright Stars sire and breeding herself ? Her sire although unfashionable to breeders to this day has thrown some very nice handy racers..It is all very well picking what we think she should go, or not to, but some excellent racers have been produced through other means than pedigree selections.
  5. Shady, Couldn't believe it but a trainer S. Goomans at Wanganui the other day walked a dog out to race with one shoe on and the other foot a black sock only!!. The crew at the TAB were in stitches.. Can you imagine the stink after standing on a dog turd or two. Did the stipes pick it up? What happened to the shoe I wonder. If a medical problem perhaps some one else should handle her dogs.....
  6. Gosh, it seems like a few things have gone wrong ..
  7. As usual Scooby will warn him and this topic "will be locked" In my opinion it is he who is "harebrained:, "Insulting" and "arrogant" and he seems to be carrying a chip on his shoulder that quite frankly too big for him to accept and handle. I personally would like to know who flogged the water truck and left the dogs with skinned paws
  8. Ashoka ....post 69 written as your opinion of Punkrock could very well be a mirror image of yourself Regards Brainstorm
  9. The noms closed on the 26th.. The fields were formed on that day and notified.. End of story....
  10. Would have to agree Mr.Waters, The caller although very good on the stats will never make a caller simply because of his voice decibels. The bullet should be bitten Martin bought back on a bigger salary with a tight contract to keep him in check, The present employers however will not listen and it is the very top of this organisation that needs to be sent packing, if only for his sheer arrogance alone. The plastic balls up at Whanganui should be re erected on the outside of the first bend at Addington to assist some dogs in negotiating the corner perhaps.
  11. Agree it's boring Punkrock but that's the level Freeman and Clark have stooped us all to. The main feature here in my opinion is that these two idiots were in a position of President and Secretary at the time this was committed. This is serious and the association must follow up and deal with this issue. It needs to be made transparent and sooner the better. They must relinquish the positions of trust that they dishonoured. Imagine if this was politician or some major sports club. They would have been hung and quartered by now.
  12. It seems a little unbalanced to say the least !!. Make a genuine mistake on race day and if your dog is outside the weight allowance for example the charge is almost half that of this serious blunder that cost Freeman. This fraudulent, sneaky, cunny calculating and straight out slimy person gets away with coming back amongst us next week. What a bloody insult to all concerned!!!, R.I.U . This is worse than Cameron George and all his promises to be a man of INTEGRITY which is very doubtful that he was. Has this set the benchmark for the disgusting results in some important areas that you embarrassingly continue to dish out??? How the hell can Paul Freeman and his so called Race Secretary Georgie Clark that possibly succumbed to his requests get away with this pathetic outcome and still continue in positions of trust within the Palmerton North Club. It hurts to the very core for the reason you are here to protect me and my fellow lovers of the sport...Some one, some where needs to go and we need to clean this shit up before it destroys the very same sport that Millions are paid towards your outcome.
  13. Ate ..maybe you would get a job with the R.I.U. Insider information is priceless..
  14. low life scumbags ? and water trucks:)
  15. Yankiwi. .Points taken there is no doubt though that the club is in the "Lower Half" of the North Island. How about putting some vegetable produce in the classifieds.... proceeds to be donated to the club for track maintanence ?
  16. Animal Welfare for sure!!! YES. This is the type of welfare that our so called Welfare Officer should be looking at instead of all the crap he puts in the magazine to fill in blank spaces. What has this expensive addition to the "House of Rejects" and the huge salaries to go with it , ever done to justify the outlay??? Where is he ? What Does he do? Is he on top of the huge outlay for the new kennels for our retired dogs.? To me this very issue is welfare to my greyhounds the man should be onto and maybe next edition of the magazine he can elaborate on what progress he has done in real terms not copy from other sources..
  17. Maybe the dogs that remain in class 5 will be the real genuine top class racers. The class one grade strugglers will become Tier two which I have heard will be a new grade with relevant stake money and also betting.. Races per meeting will increase initially to minimum of 14 to accommodate this. Maidens to get a chance at tier 2 before being thrown amongst the class ones which will have mainly down graders with experience but not much else going for them..
  18. Why at Greyhound tracks lucky enough to have overhead shelter at the starting boxes dogs are made to stand outside in the rain and like at Wanganui yesterday in blistering heat while awaiting the all clear to box? I would have thought in instances of inclement weather the dogs should be under cover...
  19. Agree Who.Knows !!! .....Mouse, never give in,,, it actually makes it easier as every dog has its day..If.. the smaller kennels get the very good dogs and take out the bigger stake races it makes it very hard on the larger kennels. If for some reason a serious illness strikes a larger kennel It would make it an extremely even playing field. You had a real lovely dog that never gave in and.. your outlook needs to hold on to that .. Stay strong and get on with it girl
  20. The promise was!!! Chanel one was to be dedicated to local content (All Codes) Not Mooney Valley or bloody Kyneton Let alone 6 minutes out after slashing prematurely.. local racing There does not appear to any one in charge that cares....Where is the person in charge right now?? Not viewing his passion for racing and trying to improve things...more than likely sucking funds over a lovely prepared dinner and a vintage wine...It's about time the industry as a whole got up these vultures that have treated all codes with content one appointment after another....
  21. First 6 races shoved onto Chanel 2 and hello the rest of the programme on Trackside 1!!! The punters that are on shift work or just plain working their guts out come home to catch up on recordings that will not give them what they so rightfully deserve,. What a bunch of grippers your programming department must be ? Do you not care about your clients that spend thousands with you and want to watch the results????
  22. I have rung the help desk at the T.A.B. The operator was helpful, agreed with my complaint and promised to hand it on to the relevant department. This from experience though falls on deaf ears.in fact they are bloody rude to say the least and never follow it up. The other interesting avenue is Roger Moore who is our new assistant Racing Manager (If he is still there Lol ) Roger prides himself for working for Trackside for ten years ,five of those in Raceday Control before moving to Broadcasting to take up position of "Trackside Producer" involved in all aspects of broadcasting, both live racing and associated programming .. If he wasn't liable for the cock ups then.. he surely can help us with this major fault which continues to happen. It is demoralising and hurtful for connections that work so hard leading up to a Group Race to be treated with content and downright shabbiness in instances that happen FAR to frequently...
  23. The coverage from Trackside post race of the two group features last night at Wanganui was shocking!!. Immediately the races were finished it was off to Mooney Valley....Not complaining about the gallops at all.. but Trackside promised us Local content on channel one. It is not happening time and time again. With a staff member now at Head Office who once worked for them in the programming postion surely if he does nothing else he can sort this problem out for the Greyhound followers who deserve better than being demoralised like this.
  24. Agree Punk.....and you are in a position of working for some very High Profile trainers so know what you are talking about..
  25. I detect sheer frustration with Aquaman's posting and I think that the majority of honest greyhound lovers would agree with what he has to say.. Remembering as if yesterday,,,, the day Cameron George interview with Steve Davis boosted 'Morale' within the the Greyhound Industry. What he wasn't going to do,,, !!!!!!.... Exciting times indeed.... ..Blood tests.... Random kennel raids ..A new state of the Ark testing Laboratory that would bring the "Low LIfe" amongst us to their knees.. What a load of shit this man turned out to be and to think his middle name was "Integrity" I"m thinking that this was the biggest disappointment to me in all the years I have been associated in honestly trying so hard to keep clean, in a sport, I genuinely love.....
