Well if it's okay to bet on Australian greyhounds why can't New Zealand dogs be sold and exported to carry on racing in Australia?
Surely the likes of the Coles and Faheys who have become multi-millionaires from greyhound racing aren't going to be getting 20 to 30 dollars a day from the government or the punters (that's the TAB) for the greyhounds they still have in their care after the last race is run. 

But none of them will win 100 Group Ones.

I think they will always come out winners over a series of shows as they get given bonus bets and boosted odds to make sure they do. Just manipulation. Not the reality of betting on racing.
