  2. Wish I had scored that many but unfortunately not. I don't think Tracy scored $440 either - Peter you might want to check that score - seemed to jump up by an extra $50 in race 5. Makes no difference because Tracy too good for me - well done Tracy - but might impact aggregates.

  4. Same again for me - thanks! Chautauqua with the joker.
  5. Te Akau were just applying the heavy roller to that inside strip
  6. Waller is just being modest. She has won 10 from 16 including three Group 1 races and three Group 2 races and she is winning group races for fun just like Sunline used to. I guess we all have our own interpretation of what makes a champion, but she looks like one to me. Waller says she has to win another Cox Plate to be a champion but i reckon if she wins another 2 or three group 1s in this campaign, including the QE, then you'd be hard pressed not to call her one. Beautiful mare and great to watch!
  7. Five Black Cap bowlers took two wickets each in the first inning against Australia. That's a five way tie in the "most wickets first inning" option. Several of them will end up paying less than $1. Hope Des didn't have a bet on it.
  8. $40 x $14 x $4.40 x $2.50 x $12 = $73,920 so I'm picking it was straight up

  11. This thread reminds me of that great scene in Blazing Saddles where Bart (the black sheriff) and his family were part of a wagon train travelling west. When they got attacked by Indians the white folks circled the wagons, but Bart and his family had to form their own circle.

  14. All good - picks posted above. Will be here each week come rain, hail, or shine (a typical Auckland day). ps. my Crucible is not the Christian variety, rather the Arthur Miller version.

  16. I'm happy to join one of the other teams if Gruff wants to play for the Blues. Don't want to oust any of the regulars.
  17. there's more than 10 jockeys in total
