WhoKnows got a reaction from Catalina in Race 11 at Addington Weird
Hardly a big issue with all the other garbage going on in the industry is it?

WhoKnows got a reaction from richie in Michael Pitman
Probably best to stay away today. The way some the races were run down there today were a farce.
Coulee winning the 'open class' race went more than a second slower than the maiden race, and the cup was a dawdle fest with the first 3 all the way over the 2600m the first 3 home.

WhoKnows got a reaction from Spikecity in Robert Dunn Vs All Stars.
Let's face it, the Robert Dunn stable are very good 'bread and butter' trainers and get a lot of winners, but not many races of any real note.
The Allstars stable target the decent races for their owners and horses and usually come out on top.
Yes, they have the superior product, but they have earned that right by being dominant over any other NZ trainer by a country mile.
Also of note the Allstars stable do not have current drug charges pending unlike the Dunn stable.

WhoKnows reacted to Iraklis in Robert Dunn Vs All Stars.
LongOwner, regarding her appeal, Nat 'has a stay of proceedings until her appeal against the penalty is held.' this is from AllStars website......
Brodie, the hell you are always right funny dude......FlagU, are you seriously tryin to say those horses behind Nat were gunna run past her and The Rocks, seriously? another funny dude....look where they all finished up (they were all down on inside and had their chance to make ground), none of em made ground cept maybe MoonRocks (and he took the short course thru the gaps to finish 8th), Heaven Rocks (copped interference ran rough twice) had to eventually hook out and come 4 wide before puttin in bigtime and finishin a close up 3rd, hardly a cheatin drive LongOwner......
FarToMuch, I for the life of me cant see why FlagU and others are sayin there was summit derogatory or rude in it, I took it the same way Harewood did that the Dunns are smart in where they're placing their horses etc....guess it's all a matter of perception, if yuh wanna see negative an nasty, you will no matter what......
Cheers Iraklis

WhoKnows got a reaction from Portfolio in Kaitlyn and Tabatha Fensom
Another interesting drive on Kaitlyn tonight miscounting the number of laps, entirely not her fault as the bell did ring a lap early but still should have known how many laps the race was. The horses did well considering but it was still a very unprofessional look, not just by her but by a number of the drivers.

WhoKnows reacted to Portfolio in Kaitlyn and Tabatha Fensom
Funny thing, I was having dinner, trackside on mute, looked up, saw Kaitlin which I stuck $20 on under a drive on the home turn, yet held on.
Thought, least I had a collect, looked up again, she is still wacking the shit out of the horse, another round, gets run down by a horse better driven.
No way can a race be void because of an early lap bell.
But she should be made to race only in trials for the next 12 months only, get her off the track, its a disgrace.
I don't care about my $20, but I feel sorry for connection, and even more sorry for horse, which will struggle to win any races in the future, its been slaughtered too much.
Not a good look for harness nz.

WhoKnows reacted to Craig Symes in ARE THEY FOR REAL
Just wondering if the race day photographers will be allowed to use anything to get the dogs attention on the dais for the after race photos ?

That is a good call Craig
Perhaps the Assoc will put a brochure out telling us how to best train our dogs in the future

WhoKnows got a reaction from Portfolio in A ton for Blair.
Cable Beach was poorly rated in front today, as soon as he got he lead he just put the foot down, Sam Ottley must have been laughing as she swooped on by, to be honest I think she is driving a lot better than Dexter at the moment and is a lot more patient, if she got the drives he did she would be near the top of the premiership table, and she doesn't have to be hanging out the back of the cart to do it!
-
WhoKnows got a reaction from Portfolio in A ton for Blair.
I hope Blair wins, Dexter is pretty one dimensional these days in the way he drives, up on the speed or trying to lead on things that realistically can't, I feel Blair rates his horses a lot better and is a bit kinder in them and doesn't have to sit right back in the sulky trying to drive American style.

Dark Horse will put him up there.

WhoKnows got a reaction from Value Bell in congratulations Nathan Williamson
Something must be up with his stable runners at present, maybe an undetected virus or something as his runners over the last few weeks have been very below par compared to normal.
Here's hoping he can get to the bottom of things.

WhoKnows reacted to Trump in Otaki Gone
Of course. It's a no brainer. The country/industry cannot afford to maintain 50+ tracks in such a small country and until someone has the balls to make the call and have less tracks, located where the horse population resides, builds the right facilities to contain the product, maintains top class tracks etcetera, then until then, more of the same will be the norm. You don't see the NZRFU proposing to build Stadiums in the Horowhenua or Hunterville do you? So when is the first gutsy person going to stand up and be counted? Do something.

WhoKnows got a reaction from Black Kirrama in ROTORUA RACE 1
I think the reason we have so much interference in a lot of racing now purely comes down to tempo.
As we know, the vast majority of NZ gallop race are just a sit and sprint affair and it seems nobody wakes up until the 400m mark then everybody tries to go.
There is the initial bustle out of the gates, everyone finds their spot and is content to stay there until the home straight, it would be interesting if you asked Jake Bayliss or Patrick Moloney who have been riding here lately about the differences they have noted in the way the races are run over here.

WhoKnows got a reaction from jack in Wingatui track today
According to the TAB website they are still racing on a dead4 track after Race 6, the times they are running today far from reflect it.
Montoya Star 1600m. 1.39.06
Sensei. 1200m. 1.14.87
Patrick Erin 2200m 2.21.04
Plutonium. 1400m. 1.27.27
Disturbance. 1400m. 1.28.18
Starvoia 1200m 1.13.06

WhoKnows reacted to Portfolio in Nathan Jack Arrested
At least Aussie actually punish those responsible. In nz, we are weak, which is why so many stables keep pushing the limits, its worth it. Get caught, transfer horses to a family member for a few weeks, then your back into it.

Had to laugh in 2yo race today. Heisenberg the fav, driven by John Dunn pulls back at start as DD shoots other stable runner to front, which wins well.
John Dunn always rushes to the front, but not today.
Dunn stable having good day, hope they have security in boxes to keep out those that give horses the edge!

WhoKnows got a reaction from Steve Paul in Te Rapa
Such a shame when you get good fields but there is such a track bias.
5 races down and 4 leaders have won, the other race they went very hard up front.
It makes for boring watching when you have a horse at the back and knowing it is no show.
