Ha! Just had a look at that debacle from R2 today. Complete shambles blah blah blah! You don't need to start a joke thread on this forum - just show replays of R2 at Timaru etc. Isn't it about time NZ racing got serious? Here in Australia there would be no debate on the matter. Multiple horses denied fair start - race declared null and void - bets refunded. Move onto the next race. From what I've read the JCA should to be held accountable for the decision. I don't know who this group is but if they are the ones operating racing in NZ then they should be well aware of the rules (and if these are the rules in NZ then they need to be looked at and changed - god help the NZ punter!). On another matter it is good to read people switching across to Crownbet and other fair dinkum punting institutions. The days of the Tab and the average punter being on an even playing field disappeared years ago. Any opportunity to remove money from the back pocket of the punter, as evidenced today, the Tab will take.
