  1. I usually have Jay Cee Hurt in there somewhere as there's not many races you can rule him out of, is there? I've made good coin on his last two races & suspect I will again in the future.
  2. Oh well, failure on that one. Nevermind. Turned the $300 I left in the account after the Chch races in $700. Off to the TAB tommorow to protect some more wealth so it doesn't get wasted in Auckland on Sunday. Good night peeps
  3. Ok, Bet is placed as above except spent $5.50 for 45% I've also put $20 FF win on #3 @ $3.50 and $100 FF place on #3 @ $1.40 (to profit a bit in tri fails & 3 doesn't win)
  4. I can't see FCF jumping better than either the 6 or the 7 (or both). I'm quite happy to leave her out tonight. The only way I could see her in the money if the trifecta ends with 6,7,8 as the top three. For that to happen the 1 & 3 would have to check eachother out of the race. Thanks for the thought anyways! It's always a good idea to have a second look through after your selections are made.
  5. I find myself always yelling at the TV when Trevor's on. Ususally something after the race is complete like "Where's the 1 (Rite Round Range) in your selections Mr. Knowitall Trevor? Did you forget to bet on him?" I had $50 FF Place on him him @ $3.10. Above refering to Race 10 today at Addington Then after the 11th it was something like "I had the 2 in that one Trevor, but I see he's not in your picks". I had $20 FF place on Waimak Dave @ $2.75 Off to the TAB to collect some winnings now. I don't want to much (limiting my risk) in the TAB account with all the heats at Hatrick tonight.
  6. Yes I hear you dusty. I picking there will be some problems between #1, #3 and #6 into the bend, hence my prediction on Bee Rabbit to swoop around the lot of them possibly. I think there's a good chance he'll at least beat one of them (maybe two). I haven't yet placed it but I'm sticking with my initial 1,3 / 1,3,7 / 1,2,3,6,7 ~ $5 for 41% It should pay a bit if the 7 gets to 2nd, and even better something like 1/7/6 or 3/7/6 We can revisit my veiws after the race tonight and see if I'm all wet!
  7. I've said all I can on the other forum web site under the same "Yankiwi" username. Complete rubbish and a very big mistake. Let's force the viewers of trackside on freeview to get Sky & instantly increase the choices of other channels they can be watching instead of trackside (and having a punt). Hmmmm... have a punt on the next race or flick it over and watch a re-run of Myth Busters? Stupidy at its best.
  8. Talk It Over ~ Race 10 $8 FF Win @ $15.00 $40 FF Place @ $3.00 2 minutes till they go off. Finger crossed. ~post race edit - Finished 4th, about 1 lenght from 3rd.
  9. Yes, Jay Cee Hurt was my bet of the day. Have a look at his inside two box stats. I had $55 to FF win on him @ $12.00 (failed) and $340.00 to FF place @ $2.90 so it ended up with as a $591 profit on the race. I have heaps of time for any of the dogs in his litter. Do the names Clone Your Own, Call Me Ralph, Rodriguez or Talk It Over ring a bell with you? Kiwi Girl loves the outside couple of boxes & has surprised more than once. As a side note, look who was 2nd in her winning initial Auckland qualifing trial!
  10. Peter had me laughing so hard in the 2nd yesterday I missed the entire backstretch run. Bloo Bloomers was midfield entering the first corner when she was checked and Peter said something like - "Bloo Bloomers dropped her knickers". This comment fell right in line with last weeks comment "Bloo Bloomers can now get a G-string" after winning her race. I agree, Peter is now the top man calling in the greyhounds. Brian is missed. If I were throwing a greyhound party while the dogs were racing, I'd pay Brian to show up and do a bit of personal calling for my guests. Imagine Brian with one of these bad boys in the new grandstand at Wanganui on a Friday night.
  11. I was lucky enough to hit it yesterday. My key legs were anchors Heza Carlos in the 3rd leg & Jay Cee Hurt (which is why the payout was so large) in the 5th leg. $5 for 31% or $300.20 payout in the end. I wasn't lucky enough to get a leg or two with more than one runner. Leg 1: 2. Holland Badger 8. Cawbourne Henry Leg 2: 2. Spitfire Osti 6. Just Jordana Leg 3: 3. Heza Carlos Leg 4: 7. Jannik 8. Code Nine Leg 5: 2. Jay Cee Hurt Leg 6: 1. Fortis Flier 6. Beale Street
