  1. Te Kawau 3rd in a George Morton Levy series race, I believe it was won by Texican.
  2. Another fantastic performance from American Pharoah. Led and won very easily. Bring on The Belmont! It's going to be a hard wait, let's hope it's worth it when we get there in three weeks.
  3. Just a small change there DWJR, the race itself is at 10:18, not sure how long the coverage goes on for but should be longer than 10:30 considering the Preakness Start Time.
  4. The TV is tuned to ESPN (CH.60)right now and that's how it will stay. Let's bring on the Preakness! Go Pharoah!
  5. My pleasure, a great race and a super win by a talented horse. Love my USA racing, therefore this time of year is very exciting! Bring on The Preakness!
  6. Attached is the NBC coverage of the race which was shown on ESPN2 (61 On Sky) with their aftermath and the alternate commentary they provide. Incidentally, until 10pm there's a replay of the day on the same channel. https://youtube.com/watch?v=iV8aA2A34Rw
  7. Can anyone tell me who is calling the non tote's in the video (link provided). Doesn't sound like the usual non tote caller for the central region. Whoever he is he sounds good.
  8. Thanks for the information.
  9. Does anyone know the reason for this? I did not hear the story behind the scratching.
  10. I thought Darryl's calling last night was very good. Nice to hear him calling again.
  11. I was thinking the same thing when I watched the race. Very strange, I wonder what the report will be on this.
  12. Fields - http://www.thebigm.com/entries.aspx Live Stream - http://www.thebigm.com/video.aspx?id=252 Race 1 is at 10:30 am NZ time and there are 13 races
  13. I must agree, Jewels day was absolutely fantastic, complete with high quality horses, records, and great finishes. Yesterday's gallops certainly did not compare to that.
  14. Super performance, blew them away (pardon the pun), Sweet Rubyjane wins by a minute and two heats of the collar, super day of viewing on the couch.
  15. Heat 1: 7,8,4,2 Heat 2: 2,3,7,8
  16. Well well well, seems I may have jumped the gun, she is appearing on Trackside as I type so oops all round on my part.
  17. Meadowlands coverage would be great but I find their live streaming is very good. Live coverage and full lead in and aftermath for each and every race from the Meadowlands. http://www.thebigm.com/video.aspx?id=252
  18. Earlier in the evening we were taken to Hatrick and greeted by Elizabeth Whelan, a very nice presenter who surely would have added to the evening. She mentioned she would be back prior to Race 1 to present for the evening. So the obvious question is what in the world has happened and Where's Lizzy?
  19. A horse that caught my eye would have to be Tuinfro. This horse is a perfect example of what a mobile start can do for a poor starter from the stands. I feel it's fair to say she is not the best from the stand start. Almost got there today and a tenacious pillar to post victory on day one. I am impressed.
  20. Isn't this just like the "Six Pack" bet type that was around a while back?
  21. I agree, a great caller and I hope to hear him on Trackside again soon if not back in the commentary box.
  22. Thanks for the confirmation - would have been a lot easier to tell if I could hear him.
  23. Getting late - I noticed this around 11:30
