Libran all day long in my opinion big run in last start to run over top of the Hoff and will get better as all the others will . I listened to Ron Duficy to me a great judge he picks Hoff a place but was all over Libran.

Thanks Midget our girl sits on 63 and 15k in stakes and is heading to the Sunline Vase so hopefully can finish in first 5 there would be nice I am actually of the opinion she is going to be a better 4 or 5 year old but te way she settled after the melay at Matamata on Sunday in the first shook it off and went on to win anything can happen

Hesi could you tell me where i can find the criteria to qualify for these races i'm pretty sure its stakes earnings in Derby is it the same for the Oaks or ratings

First off the main thing we need for these two major racing events is a good track thats not mucked around with and a correct track condition reading.Secondly we need the best horses available to make it the best races for 3 year olds in New Zealand what i mean by that is the most competitive races. Now the big question is who do we think is going to win these major races ? I am hopeful a horse i am involved in makes the Oaks field that to me will be a hell of a buzz

sure am Jim and i have a couple going around just love the Darcis they need time for sure and a trainer like Richie doesnt push them when there young it was actually Gubes who discussed with e the Darcis so we teamed up ive had a few with Richie just think hes a good trainer good communicator treats everyone equally and says it straight

Gubes has another saddling up next Wednesday in a 3 YO maiden over 1400 at Avondale hes a gelding Darci brahma x Snipza Gold to be named this week . Hes been a horse that has needed time and the saying good things come to those who wait is bang on for this boy in fact another year will do him good

Personally I think he seriously be seriously be contemplating a break for a couple of weeks been knocked out for that long over 2 minutes i can't see how he can be ok . Thats my opinion . Its not a important group 1 race in aussie and i can't see Donna cancelling him from other rides on Hasslehoff

Hopefully a chip off the old block Mistrale has had foals to 5 different sires all have had wins

HI swoopa i to am in the Mistrahma syndicate. Gubes , Myself and one other are the Camici 3 syndicate plans for her are possibly Lowland stakes or the Mckee family Sunline vase and as Gubes says wait and see if she makes the Oaks field . I spoke to Richie this morning she pulled up well shes a very relaxed filly and takes everything in her stride

Its a disgrace also the fields at Matamata very average in nominations

Personally another horse in NZ on its way up but ducking under the radar with the trainer giving him time to mature and develop is Snapshot 6 starts 5 wins and a second from the back of the field from the 500 at Te rapa. Totally different media angle about this horse No palava just letting him do the talking at the track and building slowly into what could be above average horse

Maybe Donna's PR machine Ohokaman i was taught as a youngster never put the cart before the horse ha ha . Its not the be all or end all but a few ego's will i imagine be well and truely saturated with alcohol tonight and i don't mean in celebration mode the champagne at PR head quarters in Ruakaka will still be on ice

Hi Midget thanks for that because i had my concerns as well however a question about this race Provocative the winner I can't see for the life of me why Leith Innes didnt get time on the sidelines after this race your thoughts . I am not bashing him hes one of the best around but noticed Lee Tiley got 4 race meetings for something that happened at the 1100 in Race 5 ?

My mate had a 1/11 on a yellow TAB slip from the Henderson TAB . Medici led all the way and weakened to third paid $19.75 a place

I actually think the 2YO race is harder to pick than you think so much to like about a lot of them . However racing pattern and possibly track condition could play a part . I like Sacred Elixir but i will be putting Tennessee in my multis . As for the 3 YO race i will be backing my own perhaps with my heart and not my brain she is one of 4 that have run over a mile in the race she has been freshened and has been running times that reflect a bold showing i hope

Ted what was your thoughts on the race i never viewed it ? And has there been any update on Matt Camerons apparent charge

Midget have you looked at the 3YO mile I have a share in one thats going around and i won't bag you if you don't pick mine as your a straight shooter and respect your honesty
