Well in order to guarantee a day at the races for the cubemeister ,my advice would be first thing in the morning you present her with an outstanding gift of some expense only diamond/gold really for this one, oh and that is of course after you get out of bed !! as that would possibly be upstanding as opposed to outstanding!. If this has the desired effect she will be in such awe of your obvious affection that she will of course want you to take her out.....to the races so you can replenish the coffers for her Xmas pressie!!. Either way it is going to be expensive day at the races Cubie

Thanks Scooby, yes it was satisfying to see so many just appreciating it for what it was. Although i may have been a bit ambiguous in my initial outline of the rules, i did not get too bashed up about it!!!!. After seeing how P4P's comp came down to that last race ,and the result I am really looking forward to perusing the fields for TA and Riccarton, and the OZ race would have to be the Donny methinks.

Hey BF it still is the Remmers of SA, the traffic volumes and lack of parking in the township have really increased.....but still a nice place to be. But I am looking forward to going back up to Kerikeri in a while. Do you want to come back? as I will do you a good deal house deal privately.

Cheers Scooby, got a couple of things a bit unclear but mostly I think contributors enjoyed it. Will see how the fields look for TA and Riccarton as it was good to be able to include a Riverton race this week, hell I may even amend my rules to 3 NZ races and 1 OZ race for the next round.

Thanks for that TC, this is the first time I have run a comp Ohoka so may not have been as explicit as some others that run lots of comps. Here is what I originally proposed, today was 5 races as designated so a 5 leg multi if you like. But it does get progressively easier for the next 2 weeks due to the "legs" reducing. This week will consist of 5 races (3 NZ & 2 OZ)and you will be required to pick The winner of 2 races A place getter in 2 races The quinella in 1 race (you will box 3 runners for this) Any scratchings after posting you will go to the next runner in the field. If no winner/s the first week the comp will be 4 (2NZ &2 OZ )races the next week 2 winners 2 Placegetters . Should a 3rd week be required it will be 5 (2NZ & 3OZ) races nominated and whoever gets the most winners and highest WIN dividend total will get the prize

After your sterling effort on the 10th of March at Ellerslie I have no doubt you are all over NZ racing regardless of where it is!!.

just to clarify I think that the previous weeks comps were actually winnable , but reading my comment it did not read like that as I was referring to it would be churlish of me to pick the full maiden fields for this comp.
