Kingshill reacted to Michael Roustoby in Gone in the wind
No it won't
Surgery the only thing that will fix it but that comes with a side order of complications,a big bill and no guarantee it will work. Unless it's a champion pull the pin

Kingshill got a reaction from Black Kirrama in Whyte Handicap
Once one of the great winter handicaps - this years edition headed by a 10yo mare on a 83 Rating - the rest Rating 74 and below.
To save former winning connections from turning in their graves, isn't it about time this race name was retired?
I'm sure the $40k could be better spent in the spring on a MAAT/special conditions race?
Ideas anyone?

Kingshill got a reaction from THE TORCH in Awapuni trials
Fond memories of Foxton races early June each year when they always had the Queens birthday Monday meeting with the Castletown Stakes and Foxton cup run on this day. 10 race card with full field's, full car park and a great crowd and atmosphere 🏇

Kingshill reacted to nomates in Weigh In
Stunned that they have let him back on air , he is so good he shows up how poor the other presenters are , intelligent concise and articulate commentary on NZ racing , and not scared to throw pointed barbs when he sees things not being done correctly , more power to him . Needs to be offered a very large contract to come back on board on a regular basis and drag the rest up to a higher level .

Kingshill reacted to ADM in Karaka 2023
With the abandonments, reduced money for next season is anyone really surprised local trainers are spending less, owners are not bottemless pits

Kingshill got a reaction from Mill Reef in Lot 86
Sweynesse - I'm surprised by the high prices he has achieved so far in this sale...... As his results had slowed up since the initial crop hit the tracks, until recently when Lucky Sweynesse has chipped in with his Hong Kong results.
Hopefully Sweynesse can start kicking goals again as a stallion for his owners and the NZ industry.

Kingshill reacted to scooby3051 in Johnathan Parkes not riding ?
Crow think you should probably stop trying to out people on here...its not right...I wish everyone would put their name to what they post but they dont that is the way things are in these days of Political correctness BS....I think everyone here wishes JP well and everyone was just curious as to where he was...nobody I am sure wants anything but the best for JP...so lets not try to make a mountain of a molehill here...cheers and have a good weekend...some great racing on.

Kingshill got a reaction from Baz (NZ) in Wellington Cup day
Glen Boss sums it up in the link below....... Open the gates..... Most racedays should be free entry..... Punters will spend the money anyway.

Kingshill got a reaction from THE TORCH in Awapuni track stuffed on Stuff
Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia did just that..... Remember AWT being installed around 2009 and a few years later it was put back to turf....... Relatives that used to live there said it was controversial at the time...... Someone here may know more of the story 🏇

Kingshill reacted to Double P in Photo Finish Finality
The photo finish shows at the end of the video above and it's certainly very close but I'd still argue that if their equipment is accurate enough to drop back half a frame either Canheroc would reach the line first (given the outside horse was closing) or they'd both break the line together and it'd be a deadheat.
The Club should show the frame when Ess vee Are reaches the line.

Kingshill got a reaction from Aaron Bidlake in Should we be worried about Awapuni again
The key words being USED TO
In my forties and the only one interested in the GG's amongst my original group of friends from my teenage/Twenties years.
Combination of no family involvement in the racing game/ flat out paying a mortgage/too many options now in regards to sports and hobbies and the fact that they can rock up and buy a lotto ticket and dream of a big win......
We have lost probably two generations of punters/owners /breeders...... Hard to reverse the numbers 🤔
