Because at 5pm the horse has no trainer Until it is transferred to another trainer that will stay blank no trainer. Most probably when the horse is assigned another trainer Kurtis Pertabs name will reappear as the trainer on the day of the trial as it was under his name until 5pm.

And his name has disappeared from being the trainer

A quick look in the horse info for trainers Kurtis has no horses registered under his name . A Paul Pertab has a few under his name . Lucky Coral maybe a glitch in the system of transferring the training over.

There were four that did and some others as well. along with previous tendencies . I believe Kurtis broke the horse in and amazed to see that QUOTE " the horse was dangerous and sent to him to straighten it out " Kurtis broke the horse in , something isn't adding up I wonder if that was true and in his own words said the horse had worked well that morning

It looks as if trainers had already approached him to curb his tendencies towards horses so he may have been skating on thin ice. Kudos to those trainers who sought to have authorities deal with the situation

The gimmick races conveniently coincides with the upcoming sales one on Saturday and one the night before sales .Gives the breeders something to entice a good price apart from the ability to breed a possible Group and Listed winner. REASONS FOR PENALTY: The Adjudicative Committee assessed the level of carelessness as being in the mid-range. The RIB Thoroughbred Racing Penalty Guide (February 2023) provides for a starting point for penalty for such a breach of a 7-days suspension. An uplift is appropriate for the Respondent’s record of careless riding and this is set at 2 days. A discount from that adjusted starting point of 9 days for the Respondent’s admission of the breach is appropriate, and the Adjudicative Committee sets that discount at 1 day. CONCLUSION: The Respondent’s application for a deferment is granted. She is suspended from riding in races under her Class A Jockey’s Licence from after the close of racing on 16 October 2023, up to and including 27 October 2023 – 8 national riding days.

Truck park may have been HB Racing There was a person employed I believe by NZTR suggesting overnight accom.paid and a meal on the club's premises that night.

I heard they were in the truck park trying to get the trainers to a meeting under the stands. The aim was to race tomorrow and wanted the trainers to buy into it. Leave their horses there overnight .Imagine No covers. No feed. And all of the ancillary parts of caring for the horses left at home. Staff etc. The trainers left them to it and headed home. I agree with the Amateurism part.
