  1. http://www.thoroughbredinternet.com/sirecross-results.php try this ... Your dream site. type Centaine into the broodmare sire section
  2. Her savabeel Colt for this years sales is surely a potential stallion if he wins a group 1?
  3. Nice per Incanto 3 year old win in the foxbridge plate - is this the 3 year old per Incanto is waiting for? Heading off to Australia to face the age group test !
  4. So only horses that have raced in stakes races are on the list
  5. Can anyone tell if the 2015/16 free handicaps are out yet for 2year olds and three year olds etc. thanks in advance. http://racebase.co.nz/t2yol.htm the above link is an interesting version for two year olds from punting site race base.
  6. Great racehorse, first dam sire is absolute RUST with few (1 or 2 from memory) stakes winners. im picking will leave a mixed bag.
  7. Good efforts. Are you breeding to him this year?
  8. http://www.racinghalloffame.co.nz/News/Racing-Hall-of-Fame-News/-NZ-War-Horses-acknowledged-by-NZ-Racing-Hall-Of-Fame
  9. But I guess one question is...where is his big Australian horse?
  10. I suggest you make up your own theory and breed accordingly. Interesting though, I think that dna analysis will make strides in time - although I think berry and others recently suggested it's still too early....reminder appreciated.
  11. From what I've seen of that family raise the flag (sorry to say) ... Blood is there but the genetic lottery did not fall in his favour as he is not as athletic. I'm don't mean to be harsh and of course the horse no doubt will to others be a good type, and I have to confess have not seen him in the flesh but he looks nothing like dansili or the others.
  12. Nothing to do with Power, but two words ... College chapel. Don't be too quick to pick your top stallings by how many they win ir how they start... i have visited juddmont and have seen frankle, oasis dream, and dansili - the latter the best stallion I have seen for the type of horse I like. Oasis Dream was a laid back powerhouse of emense class - and a horse by him is worth consideration such is the class of mare that these Stallion attract. Juddmont is Probably my go to for the best that the uk offers (generalisation). zacinto has started well / I'm a fan but stand by my thoughts that real power will come from a dansili first dam in a sire. However I would have no hesitation going to zacinto - and good luck to Nick and his son in Canterbury Belle country.
  13. Stud fee for Pour Moi confirmed The recent announcement from Windsor Park Stud that exciting young sire Pour Moi will return to their Cambridge farm for the 2016 breeding season was enhanced with his New Zealand bred two-year-old son Sacred Elixir brilliantly winning the $600,000 Gr.1 J.J Atkins Stakes (1600m) at Eagle Farm last Saturday. Sacred Elixir's performance did not go unnoticed by renowned studmaster Sir Patrick Hogan who commented: "To me that two-year-old (Sacred Elixir) has quality stayer written all over him. With the remarkable season that Tavistock has had and now another son of Montjeu in Pour Moi producing such a smart individual, I believe both stallions have a major role to play in shaping our future staying progeny. " Sacred Elixir is from the first Southern Hemisphere crop of his Gr.1 Epsom Derby winning sire Pour Moi, who now leads the First Season Sire's table in Australia. Windsor Park has enjoyed great success standing Derby winning stallions like Pour Moi's sire Montjeu as well as High Chaparral, who was also an English Derby winner bred on the same Sadler's Wells/Darshaan cross as Pour Moi. Pour Moi's yearlings sold to $360,000 at Karaka earlier this year and his 2016 service fee has been set at $17,500 plus GST. end.
  14. Just remember, pre Sacred Elixir his stats winners to runner is average. I'm a huge fan but let's not get carried away. Putting him in the performance league of say showcasing is OTT (noting one started in 2011 vs 2012). you may be right at $15 but it's would be a coolmore fee. 12-14k the 'right' range imho.
  15. Derby In Victoria too. Great win
  16. He still has work to do to catch up to the likes of showcasing's stakes winners etc
  17. If it does, just don't go to him. I want to but not at any price.
  18. I see today that Pour Moi has been confirmed as returning again this year to Windsor Park. Montjeu stallion with clear credentials purhaps not overly big but hard to fault his finishing speed and ability.
  19. Perhaps the answer lies in the pedigree, lady juror!
  20. Interesting observation and pictures
  21. Such a great run today I looked at Sacred Elixir's pedigree, from Horlicks family, clearly a horse on the rise. 1600m Two year old group one's (current target) aside this Pour Moi must be a Derby horse in the future. I've attached his pedigree for comment. im a big fan.
