  2. RK, your logic is flawed as spelt out by many posters.

Now let's look at the competition. Points for placings and points for dividends.

In the scenario of a dead heat for first your logic is to give both 175 points which is an outright win for each runner even though the win is shared rather than first and second points added together and divided by two for each runner.

As they crossed the line if one horse was showing $10 to win and the other $16 on the tote then according to your logic that is the dividend you would use in calculating the points to be consistent with the scenario above, even though the declared dividend by the TAB would be $5 and $8 respectively.

I would be certain that no one would be accepting of that either just as they are not accepting of your other proposal.

  3. For the hundredth f time, what clubs do, what happens with stakemoney, has f all to do with a TIPPING competition and never have I played in a competition where these bizarre rules are used.

But as I have said above its been ruled on and that's it.  you guys are the f hds carrying it on.

Never had to put with such bullshit when shorty was running the site. Was never penalised or restricted.

Seems like you let too many of the old losers back in ...

WHANGANUI. (From the 'Whanganui Chronicle,' Oct. 2.)

On the 25th inst., an Inquest was held upon the body of William Day, aged 19, who accidentally met his death while proceeding to Turakina in charge of a bullock dray the property of Mr. Holder, in whose employ he had been engaged it appeared the deceased attempted to leap upon the pole while the dray was in motion, and missed it fell beneath one of the wheels, which passed over his head causing almost immediate death. The Coroner Dr. Rees, remarked upon the dangerous practice of attempting such feats upoa vehicles of this description, and expressed a hope that it would be a warning to others to be careful in avoiding such a heedless risk. 6. Feeling generous and had a lot of enjoyment out of this site over the years, so have transferred over $100(seemed like a nice round number)

    That's $40 for Hesi 1 and Hesi 2

Plus 3 extra entries, that I am happy to DONATE to 3 deserving posters.

Perhaps a few thoughts on who these could be.

To be impartial, I will leave it up to Scooby to adjudicate before the end of play on Friday. :)

    ;)

  7. Crazy, what does stake money have to do with a tipping competition, you guys just get more bizarre all the time.

I must apologise for your lack of scripture, but I can only assume I was being baited, unless of course they really are idiots.

But I'm not worried as long as the rules are sorted and adhered to.  :)
