There are definitely a few things I would like to address. One being the risk and reward for Group 1 and 2 races. You want three times the points? you face three times the penalties.

Alright, all 16 are in. 10 in the Everest (4x Santa Ana Lane, 3x Arcadia Queen, 2x Pierata, 1x Redzel) 2 in the Cup (Finche, Constantinople) 2 in the Tristarc (Angelic Ruler, Pohutakawa) 2 on Miss Leonidas in the Caufield Sprint. If any of them are late scratched, you go on Kali at Ashburton. ALSO, from the first week at which there are 10 or less competitors remaining, I will let you submit your selections to me by private message for posting after cut off if you wish.

Another fascinating day's racing for this comp - there was a little bit of everything. Poor old Cyril Rioli got stiffed by the late scratching of Steel Prince. Trekking won, costing him 50 points and flushing him down the shitter as he fell over 300 behind the leader. Sorry guy! Trekking also took out High Sparrow while the last bob victory of Flit also claimed 2 1/2 victims. L.J.Shannon had been putting in a faultless performance but stumbled today. Cosmic Force and Shadow Hero also claimed victims leaving us with just 16 left. High Sparrow dropped just 5 points below the threshold. Kloppite, the victim of some colourful sledging from the tournament sponsor early doors has really blown out to a commanding lead. But one slip up and it's curtains for him. Our genial host, Mr Scooby is the highest placed runner with both lives left. Fascinating times!
