    Hmmmmm....

He won ok so all good. Krug had 3 Australian starts already with ANt's driving him at Redcliffe for a track record. And Blair driving him at Albion Park in winter in 2 x Group 1's for a 3rd and a 4th to great kiwis Amazing Dream (rising Sun) and American Dealer (Qld Derby) so he is just a fraction behind the very best , but doing ok. I think Tony let him run in GN Derby rather than 'pull himself into the ground' You get Good results with Best drivers On ?? . Hot and Treacherous getting bettor all the time. He would win them in a row at Menangle like Cash and Flow did. (10 straight 1.50 miles a year or 2 ago)

  7. I read an article from an information technology expert, addressed to cabinet ministers. It goes; "If you want to fix the IT sector, then there is one key thing to focus on: Stop trying to FIX the problem. Find out what the bottlenecks are, remove those, and allow the people to fix the sector themselves." Substitute the racing industry for the IT sector and you have the answer to the discussion document that Baz brought to our attention.

  8. George Simon you are a great caller. A bloody good bloke. But you do this "blinkers" thing that's driving me ( and probably others) nuts. Like today. You look down into the birdcage and tell us Royal Performer "has blinkers on today" Oh ! is this a late gear change ? , blinkers first time ? blinkers back on again after racing without them last start ? Nah. He's wearing blinkers just as he did in his previous 13 starts. You have done this so many times. Why pick on blinkers? Why not "he has a saddle on today .. a bridle ....." But that wouldn't mean anything. Be a bit silly really.

  10. Chev, how is it even possible Fauci has survived after being caught out on so many lies in plain view ? This is very concerning . I See our well funded 'epidemiologists' are back from their Holidays ready to restrict the Population yet again with their BS... Wiles states 'we are back to where we started with this New Variant ' .....no shit, the original Therapeutic was utterly useless and was expected to be,no surprise with experimental Money making RNA potions...... the full extent of the damage these will create is unknown, but the Vaccine adverse reactions suffered to date can only be a pre cursor for what's yet to come one would surmise, it's an experiment that hasn't started well after all Mike Bakers son tested 'positive and so did one of the most careful epidemiologists in the US who hardly went out and sounded like she virtually lived in a Bubble, HOW? I have Elderly unvaccinated parents who must of clocked up 20,000 km using public transport in Auckland which would have to be the best way outside of intercourse to catch 'the bug'....... VAST amounts of money are now in the hands of Crooked Pharma who paid out 20 Billion in fines for fraud since 03, and they fund Universities who produce the likes of Baker,Wiles Jackson Hendy and Plank to name just a few who then give our Left wing Government who believes Jumbo jets are creating 'Climate change' the 'Science'...overpopulation???? ....listen to the Science we are told but only from hand picked 'SCIENTISTS'.... the ones making a noise in opposition dont rely on outside financial assistance from those pulling the strings...Conspiracy theory? The Big question in NZ remains to be seen...Will Missinformation be changed to Mrsinformation after Adern ties the Noose..I mean (K)Not

  12. not hard to work out, why george says it. how many punters on course or of course have all the gear changes for last 13 starts right in front of them?
    1 point
  13. well ummm, your not really thought about your gripe a great deal it wears them in most starts but oh wait does it say it in the race book it wears them every start think about this a person betting on course suppose have the race books for its last 13 starts with him or her if a punter on course didn't know what gear it had on last start where would it come from from George or any other commentator he's not the only one that does it thanks for the laughs

Have you been to Birdsville Gary? I went in 2003. Couldn’t do it now . Can’t drink the required amount anymore. Races Friday and Saturday. Great way to get rid of money get burnt and get a headache. And lose your licence driving out on Sunday morning. Great time tho. In the memory banks.

  15. Let's not forget a small crowd at Ellerslie would make Kumara look packed. Ellerslie is a huge complex, with multiple outdoor and indoor areas. Kumara? Not so much. Put it in perspective. Us Aucklanders also have a lot more things to do up here.

  16. Not a day for the faint hearted yesterday. Heavy persistent rain from mid morning left the track at Sandown officially Heavy (in NZ terms probably a Heavy 15 !!). It was a right bloodbath for punters with the televised races from Sandown and Wincanton featuring winners at 40s and 80s thus knocking out many an accumulator. The feature chase at Sandown was for the veterans (horses aged 10 years and over) and the 40/1 winner at Wincanton was a past winner of that race, one JEPECK, who bolted up in a handicap hurdle by 20 lengths at the ripe old age of 13. More evidence (if any were needed) there's hope for us all. The Grade 1 action at Sandown was the Tolworth and CONSTITUTION HILL was the well-hyped 2/5 favourite on the strength of a facile win over another highly-rated type over the course and distance at the last meeting. One or two wondered if the heavy ground would be an issue: Tolworth Hurdle: Clearly, the ground wasn't an issue and he bolted up by 12 lengths. Trainer Nicky Henderson has the unenviable position of having the top two in the market for the Supreme Novices in the shape of this horse and recent Newbury winner JONBON though you'd think the latter might just be more of a 4000m type. Nonetheless, both horses are clearly very good and I can't wait to see this one over fences one day but that won't be for a while yet. JETOILE represents the other end of the training ladder - his handler, Ryan Potter, has only 16 horses and indeed works as a farrier for a number of the big stables in Gloucestershire and the Cotswolds.

I went to the movies in Auckland yesterday and there was nobody there, I went to the mall and there was nobody there , I went to the pub and there was nobody there , the reason, Aucklanders are at their holiday locations at the moment . In fact the only ones left are the 20,000 from Otara and they were at Long Bay Beach !!!!

Anyone who puts their head above the parapet re picks deserves all the accolades they get.. Some good clean racing for a change. I'm waiting for inspector Peter Clouseau, aka Kilcoyne, post a few picks for the 2nd day but he seems to be always busy chasing crims and bad guys
