Basically "Son of a Dick", born with a dick, should not be gate-crashing women's sport.Like it or not, those born males are in the main inherently physically stronger than those born female and where physical strength is the primary attribute necessary in a sport such as weightlifting then the decision to allow it/them to compete against women is completely out of order. The death knell for women's sport. Let rip Mikey!

    Auckland Card Thursday

As an owner of a novice trotter having its 1st start, we are actually very pleased to have a mobile start. As long as the mobile doesn't go to fast, we've always found our novices are more likely to have a decent chance of racing in the field from a mobile than a stand. The very worst for a novice trotter is a standing start with race winners and unrulies behind. Can almost guarantee won't go away, especially if drawn 1. There is logic behind the fact that all juvenile trots are mobiles. Imagine if all novice pacers had do standing starts only! Having trotters doing standing starts all the tim

I was going to add a slightly humorous slant on things but I did once before on another thread and kind of got vilified for it but I've just been doing a bit of reading, gee a lot of women sports players playing men's sport that are gay, quite revealing really. Just to add some of those Chinese women in the shot put look out of place in women's sport, some of them look like as though they were conceived in a laboratory

  10. Well, I can honestly say I take so little notice of them that if you showed me a photo of BP and sweens I wouldn't know which one was which. I don't know why they can't refer to each other by their christian names. I'm sure they have been told they look much cooler if they use stupid nicknames.

Watched a few races at Addington yesterday and they were running 33 quarters at times-zzzzzzzzzzzzzz Josh Dickie is departing to Victoria so that is another nail in the coffin for North Island harness Southland set to reignite soon but until then Nathan and co are keen to travel to ChCh with their teams.

  14. The third day at Goodwood took place on a fine afternoon with the wind much lighter than on the Wednesday. The ground continued to improve and was called Good to Soft, Good in places, The third and final Group 1 feature at the meeting was the Nassau over 2000m for the fillies and mares. You could call it Goodwood's female version of the Eclipse and given the strong performances by the classic 3-y-o in the King George and the Sussex, there was plenty of support for Diane winner JOAN OF ARC but she faced a couple of strong older fillies in LADY BOWTHORPE, who was making her first attem

Foot and Mouth Disease 2001 video produced in 2015 with previously unseen footage and uploaded on Youtube in 2020 Note 2021 is the 20 year anniversary of the heinous destruction of vast numbers of uninfected animals and loss of human lives from suicides within the farming community all relating back to exactly the same Professor Neil Ferguson who is telling us all how to live our lives in 2020-2021. One has to question the intelligence of some of the 'Best Practices' and lack of Critical thinking of those teaching as Professors and within the Education system who fail to understand '

    Grey Way

Hi, just to set the record straight. Lol. There is a post which suggests Grey Way should have been relegated in his win over Show Gate in the Stewards at Riccarton in the 70s. I have watched the replay of that race many times and still have a recording of it. They were in the middle of the track and there was no interference. Show Gate carried three kgs more so it was a huge effort but Grey Way was a fair winner. He was an amazing horse. From memory, 15 track records and at one stage held the Australasian record for 1400m - which very much proves how good he

    Grey Way

I had the pleasure of riding him a few times, never in a race, but raceday He gave you one hell of a feel, big strong boy with a beautiful quick action once he quickened up I also had the pleasure of winning a race on his nemesis, the freakish Show Gate She didn’t give you the same feel but she was a hell of a mare The tragedy is that Grey Way wouldn’t win 20 races today, because the handicapping model we use is so fucked up, it drives consistent male horses out of the industry or into WFA far too quickly . Sad really, but nice to do the feel good nostalgia thing, an

Hi, I have the recording on a DVD … I will have to ask a techie minded person if they can load it on the site. There are other races on there from Turf Talk … one collection when he was retired. Pat Corboy’s wife kindly sent me a video which I got converted to a DVD. There may be someone out there who has the same collection … one of the races … which unfortunately is not very clear … shows his incredible acceleration. I realise it wasn’t a stewards view … but the horses were in the middle of the track down the straight and the great mare does not look inconvenienced in any way.
