It totally sucks that this is the way we're portrayed in mainstream media when this happens, indeed. The jockeys won't stop breaking the whip rules. If they're a chance halfway up the straight in a Melbourne Cup, the last thing they'll be thinking about is the whip rule or stewards. I think the only way to fix it is to just take them away altogether (or only have them carry them for safety, etc). It pains me a bit to imagine what non-racing people think when they see a close finish - whips flying everywhere. That can be fixed with education on the actual 'whip' is, and the reason it's used... but it's much more simple and effective to ditch them, for the sake of giving racing a more friendly image.2 points

if you knew voter fraud to be a REAL issue... would you not prevent it from occurring?? of course you would!! now do you think, Trump being fully aware of the issue way back in 2016.. during the first election where he had no power to do anything.... is going to allow it to occur... without doing something!!?? either you have your head in the sand... or you havent any commonsense!!1 point

Sharpie pen fraud.... lol people refused to use the sharpie-pens in casting their votes.. and chose to use a ball-point pen.. and when they used the ball-point pen their votes were invalidated... typical cheating tactics of bent Biden supporters.. crooked as they come!! cheat as they did... they will still lose!! then the Not-my-President season 2 begins1 point

You watched the Caulfield Cup 8 times Trumpy and left out The Chosen one in saying that Persan should of gone close but thats racing.... i left out Tiger Moth the lexus horse was almost as good as Veery Elleegant and Prince of arran but Jye oh so good rating a horse that normally needed a fair bit of whip1 point

Win or lose the Dems picked the wrong candidate to go against Trump. IMO people are sick of career politicians and Biden is exactly that. Now he says he should have voted against the Iraq war, thats exactly what a career politician would say to save his job. Biden after 47 years will/would have many favours to pay back.Pork barrell politics at its finest. Clinton had the same problem.People want change, real change not a changing of the guard.1 point -

I quite liked the interview Gower had with two 60s plus Americans, they said the difference between the Democrat voters and Republicans is in their response to a lost election , says alot about the type of people they are. If you think for a moment Kamala Harris is Presidential Material you are beyond foolish....All Americans lose with a Democrat Vctory, New Normal, then New World Order .... Spring Carnival - Group Comp RESULTS THREAD

After the Ellerslie race (which I posted above) he was on 323. After that, there was The Cup Race 7 where he had Twilight Payment (5 points) and then Race 9 he had No 3 Lyre (2nd) for 3 points so the 8 points he picked up was from the 2 races. (Race 9 No 1 was a Scratching which went onto 15 which was down the track so got nothing from the Scratching). Okay.?1 point -

i once made that comparison... regarding National & Labour as 2 sides of the same coin... but being the same coin... and chose to see Winston as the defender holding back the tides of corruption.. now that my man Winston is gone... how shall i now perceive the Coalition now.. hmmm i therefore have to place my trust elsewhere... lest my mind be shaped with a incorrect perception attitudes and perceptions of people really colour the world around us.... therefore i take the winning attitude and the mindset of victory, which is why some of us... are confident in President Trump... if one doesnt have confidence in something... they live in worry or fear of things they simply dont understand!! Either way... God is Great... America will be made great again by the hand of God, and there will be no mistaking Gods hand of justice when it comes!!1 point

Watched it again last night , about 200 metres from post first time The Chosen One just muscled in on Prince of Aaron and nudged him slightly as he got the rail in front of him , quite rightly IMHO Jamie Kah just eased back and settled , POA then just followed TCO , that was probably a critical move as one got the hole turning in the other didn't. I suppose brutal money figures only Ballydoyle are ahead , place money Caulfield Cup , Cox Plate and Cup , value of Armoury enhanced, value of their cast offs enhanced through Sir Dragonet and a couple of insurance pay outs will ease them ahead on ledger maybe but no doubt they were gutted to lose Anthony Van Dyck and Wichita both top class horses . Joseph will pick up QE2 Saturday with Pondus on that last run if he is still I that form.1 point

Very interesting prospect if it happened. She would be a 6-y-o mare if she came to Europe but both MAGICAL and ENABLE were still winning Group 1 races at that age. We know she goes on soft Australian turf but how would be go on Parisian Heavy? If it came up decent, she could run really well - on a line through ADDEYBB and MAGICAL she would have every right to be a big player at 2000-2400m races.1 point

For a supposedly disorganised people, the Americans have already sorted out the final fields and barrier draws for the Breeders Cup meeting on Friday and Saturday. I'll do the Friday preview tonight and split Saturday over tomorrow and Thursday. The American races have a maximum of 14 with up to three Reserves so that needs to be considered if you are punting in the big races. I'll be talking about these from a European perspective apart from the Classic. So, the Grade 2 Juvenile Turf Sprint over 1100m. MIGHTY GURKHA has drawn one and has blinkers on for the first time but the Europeans rarely break as sharp as the Americans and that could cause problems. LIPIZZANER comes out of stall 3 and won over 1200m last time so again may be tapped for early speed. UBETTERBELIEVEIT won the Flying Childers over 1000m at Doncaster last time so speed won't be an issue and I think he has a big chance though Wesley Ward probably holds the key with Norfolk runner-up GOLDEN PAL. The Juvenile Turf over 1600m looks wide open. BATTLEGROUND swerved all the big European juvenile races and hasn't run since winning the Vintage at Goodwood and you'd have to think connections are of the view the horse needs quick ground. He has obvious claims. CADILLAC beat subsequent Group 1 winner VAN GOGH at Leopardstown and didn't handle the ground when fifth in the Dewhurst. I like this horse a lot. Ralph Beckett runs two, DEVILWALA and Royal Lodge winner NEW MANDATE. Of the Europeans, I think CADILLAC could go very well and looked to enjoy the sharp left-handed track at Leopardstown. With SNOWBALL third reserve, the Europeans have four runners among the main field for the Juvenile Fillies Turf. MISS AMULET has never gone beyond 1200m having won the Lowther and been runner up in the Cheveley Park. Will she see out the extra 400m? She should stay 1400m and perhaps she might get away with it. OODNADATTA was third in the Moyglare and the trip won't be an issue. That run matches her closely with PRETTY GORGEOUS, the top juvenile filly in the UK and Ireland. The latter also links to MOTHER EARTH and you'd have to think wherever OODNADATTA finishes, MOTHER EARTH will be close. NAZUNA's second in the Rockfel doesn't look good enough.1 point
