Racing Industry Bill
puha and one other reacted to Tauhei Notts for a topic
This Bill is due to have its first reading before the Christmas break. I have only spent 40 minutes studying it, but the wording brought to mind the actions of the Bolshevics in Russia circa 1918 - 1923. I am rather perturbed by all racing club's land and buildings being seized by an outfit with its head office in Jackson Street, Petone. Lenin tried that game once, and it went okay until 1989 when it all came tumbling down. Lenin was successful because all those who disagreed with him spent the rest of their lives on holiday in Siberia. I would dearly love to see an interpretation of the Bill prepared by somebody with a legal knowledge vastly superior to my limited skills.2 points -

Inters night 2.....

An interesting article on Aus Harness web that shows where each horse will have to finnish to gain a place in the final if the racing goes to plan. Well worth a read if you want to keep up with the racing tonight and follow the respective horses progresses in each heat. http://www.harness.org.au/media-room/news-article?news_id=421792 points -

We all make mistakes Greg, and the RIU make more than their fair share This incident looked uglier than it was , and mainly because the winner hit the line looking like it could of gone around again . Good to see you post opinions on matters like these all the same Greg,. All the best1 point

Gravitelle looked very handy once she put her head down and got rolling in last 100 in later race . Comes from Lord Derby's stud , damside has Ouiji Board appearing in it , a globetrotting superstar and has produced a Derby winner as well as a few high priced yearlings . Good staying pedigree as Frontiersman who Godolphin brought another good stayer from family .1 point

Seems odd to have a price of $7.50 for the casual purchaser and $10-11 for those that commit to purchasing for a length of time.1 point -
Yes agree the 2nd horse Terracotta didn't get as much luck in the straight and lost a hind plate in the running also. Will win one at short notice.1 point

Whether you agree or not, they are doing what the Constitution requires them to do. They are on a hiding to nothing either way and will know that it will not go anywhere in a Republican Senate. But the facts are out there. Do you think the Republicans would not be doing exactly the same thing if the boot was on the other foot ? They did as much to Obama, and changed the rules to suit themselves. Now all of a sudden, it is " illegal" and " unconstitutional". A more morally bankrupt Party you would not find.1 point

Flash you are correct she did drop her hands, I dont know why the RIU didnt get involved maybe, with the way things are going for them at the present time they are taking a back seat. Look at harness racing, Mark P fined only 300 for not driving a horse out at the finish then is caught again maybe involved in team driving in the ID heats nothing has come out about that at this stage. I think that the decision on race 2 at Auckland is another cock up the RIU and the JCA seem to be hellbent on trying to be nice people but they are letting down the owners, punters and race goers and it needs to be sorted out ASAP. I understand this is one of the issues that RITA was going to have serious look at.1 point

Hey hey Harewood mate howd yuh be?, yeh I found it in the end makes good reading.....following news from MickG's site on mighty Habibi: Auckland TC - Trainer P Nairn has this afternoon contacted Stewards to advise them Habibi Inta is displaying hive like symptoms. Mr Nairn reports the horse to at this stage appear unaffected by the condition. A vet exam will take place on arrival at the track....oh please don't be nothin other than heat issue's and Sertorius is late scratchin for last Trot heat..... Cheers Iraklis1 point

You say it "is only a few inches" then state "25 cm to be exact". 25 cm is roughly 10 inches. I'm sure any good lady will tell you that there's quite a noticeable difference between "a few inches", which "a few" would generally translate to around five, and the other bloke that was offering 25 cm. Your "few inches" would run second every time hahahahaha1 point

It certainly is worth a tin of shit. Your contribution is very worthwhile Mr Glub. A lot of people have accessed a lot of information they themselves would have struggled to source.Myself included. Keep it up Not sure that was Toblerone. More like Nutty Snap1 point

Usually deposit as much as I want from my credit union account and for some reason couldnt in last week. Rang them today and they said maximum deposit for online gambling is $50 because of fraud and money laundry activites. The worlds gone mad . I wonder if banks will follow.0 points
