How does someone positively participate in a group to make something work that they have helped to destroy by stating blatantly unachievable (to anyone with half a clue) targets. You might get a laugh out of this. TAB NSW are running a raffle in which the 16? drawn numbers will each choose a runner with the result of the race to determine the winners. So what I ask the TAB man has fixed odds got to do with buying a lottery ticket? Upturned palms, no idea, can’t help. So on our way home we call in to Twin Towns pubtab in Coolie and try again. Yes! Tickets are purchased, one for me and one for my mate in Gold Coast. Someone suggests it’s a good idea to register the ticket numbers online with the NSW TAB so that in the unlikely event we get lucky they will know how to contact us. Great idea, oh but when I try that I have to enter my address, and the small print says I have to be a NSW resident. Without a NSW address I can’t register, and it’s a condition of the raffle that the ticket holders have to live there. What a rort! Hopefully my mate (who said he would have given up after the first attempt) has another mate who lives in NSW who can front for us if we get drawn out. Another story from last Friday. Client went to manual seller but was told his TAB account was invalid as the old dilapidated machines wouldn't accept it. They tried another machine with same result. After a couple of swear words (p.s. I don't have a TAB account ) he went to the TAB - Alex Park where a TAB is on course - and their machine accepted his account immediately. Yes, it was a good week and both Nationals were outstanding...management need to shake off complacency and show a bit of support for jumps racing however, otherwise their cash cow may depart elsewhere. Many visitors were not overly happy with the conditions of stabling by all accounts and comments about 'shabby' and 'run down ' were heard. If not for the incredible team at the Bendigo Equine Clinic (Victorian Equine Group) there would be absolutely no way we would have our incredible boy home. The whole team here from the incredible vets, the vet nurses and all other staff cannot do enough for their equine patients and their two legged families. The incredible prayers, well wishes and kind thoughts from hundreds if not thousands of people all across social media and who messaged me and text me, every kind thought shared with us means so incredibly much to Subbie, my family and I, we cannot express how grateful we are to each and every one of you. Mum has just gone out to do an evening check on him and he is very happy and content, picking at some grass that has grown around his water trough while he was in hospital. He has also been eating his dinner. Many people say Subbie must be half cat as he has 9 lives, I think he must be half lion because I think we have passed the 9 lives! But no more, Subbie! You need to stop keeping us on our toes now! Just a couple of photos now he is home. Julie Anne Genter says that the letter is from the Green Party Transport spokesperson and therefore does not need to be disclosed. She says party policy should remain confidential. The letter from Julie Anne Genter dated 26 March is to Phil Twyford, Minister of Transport. MPs Chris Bishop and Nicola Willis suspect that it contains proof that Genter coerced the Wellington City Council into adopting a green transport plan which puts major tunnel and roading projects in Wellington on hold for 10 years, and funds public transport instead. Yesterday Genter again asserted her right to keep the contents of the letter private, which only raises the question, “why is she going to such lengths to hide the contents of the letter?” There are other details about Genter’s relationship with the Wellington City Council that she may not have made public. The letter to Phil Twyford was written prior to Twyford’s finalising government funding for the Wellington Transportation Programme in May 2019. This sorry little saga could still bring down the government if it is found that Genter threatened to resign and/or withhold funding in an attempt to subvert the Wellington City Council’s transport plans. If proven, the story of the Greens, with 6% of the popular vote, manipulating a local body, using the threat of destabilizing the Coalition government by resigning, or withdrawing billions of dollars in funding, will go down in history.

To tell you the truth I don't do any shoeing. Pay someone to do that. I don't ride my horses at the races. My horse trainer gets a jockey to do that. I commented that One thing is walking on and off a truck, it can totally different when the have a jockey aboard. Would you not agree that how a horse feels and behaves when you sit on it in a gallop is more important than walking it on and off a truck? All the horse people I talk to agree! You should know the answer if you have been riding them for 50 years?
