  1. It might not have been picked up by some but expat Kiwis Don Dwyer and Shaun Cooper have taken out the 2018/19 picnic trainer and jockey premierships in Victoria. Don had 15 winners and 22 placegetters with a winning strike rate of 26.79% and Shaun had 31 winners and 32 placegetters with a winning strike rate of 28.44%. It was only Shaun's second full season of riding.

  2. I think you will find most rich are clever and use tax loopholes , maybe that new car is brought through a company which then gets depreciation , get refunds and all manner of cash backs. Waged earner gets FA back and pays for everything .As everywhere those at top doing well , those at bottom looked after and those in middle pay for the lot of them up and down.

  6. He goes to the Meadows in Pennsylvania and wins a couple of divisions of PASS 3yo Filly trotters heats Then leaves there and goes to Meadowlands and wins 1 there, then jumps across state lines to Yonkers in NY and wins three there All in about a 10 hour period. then this morning (Sunday here) goes to Harrah's Philadelphia and drivers a couple there and hops on a plane to Ontario Canada and wins a $188,000 Confederation Cup at Flamboro Downs. So He won 7 races and probably 10,000 in winning drivers fees. I would say he would be nuts to come home because he is showing the world what a great driver he is. He's gotten much more aggressive in his drives than when he 1st started here. He's doing us proud.

  7. "FAREWELL TO AUTUMN RACING WITH THE KINGSFORD-SMITH POINTS COMP" ENTRY THREAD : POST YOUR SELECTIONS AND JOIN IN THE FUN TO FAREWELL AUTUMN RACING Selection Rules: 1. Select ONE horse in each race. Please post using the horse number. You can post the number and the name if you want, but if the number and name are different I will go with the number and disregard the name. Once you post your selections they cannot be changed unless you have a scratching replacement. 2. Points allocated for placings: Win 5 pts / Second 3 pts / Third 1 pt 3. Comp races 4,6 and 8 are bonus races and you will earn triple points if you win ie. 3 x 5. Second and third placing pts remain the same ie. 1 x pts. 4. Select two comp races as your Best Bet races and any pts earned will be doubled. You cannot use a BB on a bonus race (4,6 or 8), if you do it will be disregarded. 5. Any scratching can be replaced up until 1.50pm. After 1.50pm any scratching will go on the TAB sub. 6. Entries close at 1.50pm - 30 minutes before the first scheduled comp race start time. 7. and most importantly ... Have fun How the pairs comp will work: As you post your selections I will draw out a number between 1 and 60 and I will post that on the selections thread so you can follow the numbers drawn as we go. I may post these in groups so don't expect a number to suddenly appear as soon as you post The number I draw out will be your slot on my results sheet. For example if you post your selections and I draw out 33 then that's your position, and when I draw out 34 for someone, then that someone will be your partner in crime for the pairs comp - so the pairs will be 1/2, 3/4, 5/6 etc. If we get more than 60 selectors I will add on as we go and if we get less than 60 as at comp close, then I will couple up those without a pairing ie. an 11 without a 12 and a 41 without a 42 - then I will move 41 to become a 12 to make up the 11/12 pair. Your points score and your partner's points score will be added together after each race. The pair that has the highest points score after Race 10 will be the winners of the Farewell to Autumn Pairs Points Comp. 10. I will look at our close neighbours first.Australia current rules on blood conditioning would fall under the Specified Prohibited substances.... IMHO. and I quote. Oxygen carriers....including "modified haemoglobin products". strictly prohibited. . Now Lee if haemoglobin means blood and separating parts of it means a 'modification" then .game set match. it is banned. Certainly the 2017 case against Mark was for using the serum and having a syringe for its use even before a trial( 48hrs and 24hs) showed the sensitivity back then. I maybe wrong on my assumptions so,feel free to correct me . especially on PRP.,IRAP.and ACS.

  12. Should have no trouble having his visa renewed when the time comes, considering the results he is getting. USA gain is our loss.

  13. The best climate in NZ by far. They should build a brand new decent sized track and transfer all the Classics there. Almost a perfect track will be available 9 months of the year. Not far for the Waikato horses to travel or the CD for that matter Don’t worry about on course crowds as few turn up to Auckland or Te Rapa these days, plus it’s all about off track betting isn’t it?

  16. I see on the latest US driver rankings he's at #18 on number of race wins in 2019, but at #9 on stakemoney won in 2019, which when you're paid on percentage is the one that counts! He's not doing a bad job to crack the top 10 drivers in the US after only about 8 months on the ground!

  18. Iraklis--you go on about this product being natural but so too are the red blood cells and it is illegal to inject these. It is not natural to separate the red cells from the rest of the blood and then use ultra violet light to enhance whats left.I'm not saying i'm against its use but this program was clearly biased and really just an advertisement for its use.Why is it banned in other countries if its so natural?
